Cost rs 1 lakh ( inclusive of all registration, tax, insurance) Fuel - petrol , average Rs 300/ week rs 15000 per year If petrol soars for every five year increase 30 percent in fuel cost 1- 5 year - rs 75000 6-10 year - rs 97500 10- 15 year - rs126750 Total fuel cost around 3 lacs Ever year insurance average rs 2500 For 15 years rs 37500 So total cost for 15 year period (One time Petrol vehicle cost + running cost) rs 436750 E bike No registration, No insurance Vehicle reliability for 15 years questionable Vehicle Cost Rs 1 lakh Battery cost ₹ 40000 In 15 year period, three time battery to be replaced So battery replacement cost ₹ 1.2 lacs Charging cost Per day 5 units, cost rs 50 For a month rs 1500, a year 18000 For 15 year period 1-5 year ₹90000 6-10 year ₹ 117000 10-15 year ₹152100 Total charging cost ₹ 359100 (3.6 lakhs) Total cost ( onetime vehicle cost + battery replacement cost + charging cost) ₹ 100000 + ₹ 120000 + ₹ 359100 = ₹ 579100 All these cost are exclusive of service cost Regular wearable parts , service cost are separate. Moreover Production and usage of ebikes add 40 percent more carbon foot print than regular fuel used conventional bikes. Think wisely and act smartly.

nice video. however i have doubt. in this video you discussed about depth of charging. In real usage no one discharges the battery 100. users discharge 60 to 70 percent of battery and then they will recharge it due to range anxiety. in that case is it considered as one cycle??
