On Sunday night, September 12th, a super-pod of 1428 Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins was driven for many hours and for around 45 km by speed boats and jet-skis into the shallow water at Skálabotnur beach in the Danish Faroe Islands, where every single one of them was killed. For such a hunt to take place in 2021 in a very wealthy European island community just 230 miles from the UK with no need or use for such a vast quantity of contaminated meat is outrageous.

@@andrewdrummond8576 h, im from the Faroe's, i would just like to answer your questions. most people on who live here are completely fine with it as it's been a tradition on the island for thousands of years and if you're worried about the ecological damage then there is no need to worry as the whales we kill have a population of 1.4 million. as for the ethics, the whales we kill are always eaten and no part of the whale is wasted, we always kill the whales humanely so they don't feel any pain. maybe you should be more worried about the billions of chickens, cows and pigs that are slaughtered in inhumane factory conditions.

Why didn't you mention the island savages that slaughter 100s dolphins for fun?
@blueheart87863 жыл бұрын
Maybe she likes facts, not fiction Yes, the islanders like local organic food from animals that have not been enslaved. No these animals are not killed for sport of fun, but for food. Simple as that. How about everyone comment all videos about your country, be it about travelling to your country, or just kids playing in your country, and remind the world how evil your country is since it enslaved millions of innocent animals and kills them all for money and greed after they have been deprived of all their natural enviroment and enslaved. Sounds a bit irrelevant for a kids or travell video....hmmm..
@elenapodmareva25333 жыл бұрын
Don't support tourism there!
@cmichaels95443 жыл бұрын
@@blueheart8786 but remember, just because an animal is free it doesn't make it any better to kill it. It's like saying that it's okay to kill people that have freedom today because a few centuries ago we killed and enslaved people. So it's better to kill free people. Also, the population of dolphins are drastically declining year on year, but that's okay, right? Because the extinction of a free animal that's ultimately killed for food is okay. What will the "kind humans" eat once the population hits zero? I doubt it will be only legumes, veg, fruit and grains because they don't exclusively eat that now.
