I bet cops and people around you are more strict. Im in the same boat where I cant ride it anywhere "Legally" but I still ride it anyways, I literally wheelied past a cop and they didnt care, and on mountain bike trails people just give me a weird look. One good thing to do is remove that front fender makes it look a lot more like a mountain bike and just dont go top speed everywhere youll be fine

Yeah they can be, depends what sort of cop you get that stops you, some are better than others for sure. Thats a good point though definitely going to be doing some further mods soon and removing the front guard will probably be own!!

My surron is barely a surron anymore I rode it for 200 miles stock And then I bought all the upgraded parts all at once .Completely new brake system BAC 8000. 55 AMP hour 72 V battery Fox 40 forks and Fox rear Suspension Primary chain drive 54 tooth rear sprocket And chain Footpegs Fender's seat and tires Including the bike I have about $12,500 into it. Was it worth it? Yes it's a freaking blast But I have to keep it forever because nobody's gonna pay me that much for it. Which is fine with me And I live in Arizona so there's no problem with finding places to ride And the only problem I've ever had with cops Is they pulled me over to see what it was so they could buy one And the sheriff here told me if it's electric they don't care they're not gonna bother me.

you can speed up charge times massively, but I would argue against that. being an avid escooter/hyperscooter nerd, fast charging always speeds up the degradation.

I mean I’ve just bought a Surron and I think that if you respect the public by letting them past or slow down then your going to make a good reputation of yourself and the rest of the public would respect you and would understand that your just trying to have fun. Look up California vehicle code on e-bikes. Here in Illinois it's a class 3 e-bikes and no one under 16 can operate one so it differs state to state
