Thank you so much for a very positive video. Firstly as someone who called Galway home for a decade, it was very heart warming to see the familiar streets of that fabulous city. I recently moved to Canada, after 25 years living in Ireland, and your positive energy about the country I love has been much welcome after seeing loads of depressing nonsense popping up on social media. I am thrilled that you have the same enthusiasm and love of Ireland, and am glad that a person like yourself feels so happy to call it home. Hope you have a very happy birthday, and may you have a bright and happy time in Ireland in the future.

I have a question. I am moving in Ireland Dublin or Galway after couple of months with my girlfriend. We are moving from another EU country. I am a dental technician, she is a dentist. We already had couple of interviews and did our research, but what so you think about the job market in that area and also is it not super hard to find lets say rent 2 bedroom appartment for around 2k-2.2k Eur per month? Firstly we wanted to move to Galway, but seeing how few rents they got in daft we probably are going for Dublin.
@Corrky10 ай бұрын
Honestly, job should be easy for both of you considering what you do. Both Galway and Dublin. Accommodation could be problem, there’s no point in lying about it. In Galway you can get it for that money for sure, that should be more than enough. And for Dublin I really don’t know. I have no idea what situation is like there and what the costs are.
@aks13v3510 ай бұрын
@@Corrky the rent cost itself I big I know, but the bigger problem for me is if I could actually find a place. I checked the rents and for similar places its the same price for Dublin and Galway, but in Dublin you could find a newer place. How is the city transportation system in Galway?

Actually, Northern Ireland is not a part of Great Britain. G.B. is the island comprising England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is however part of the U.K. That's the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to give it it's full official title at present. It's a bit confusing because sometimes people wrongly think that Britain and UK means the same thing. I hope this helps. Riobeard

well done for having a sensible understanding about Irish weather ...there is nothing worse than those (including Irish, btw! !) holding a LAZY stereo-typical view '...aah it always rains!! No it doesn''t Neither hot nor cold, no hurricanes, heatwaves, never really freezes, no earthquakes, volcanos, blizzards, Plus, we have seasons, they may be morphing into each other but they are there and so wonderful. PS ....you are correct, & esp, since Covid, swimming or even dipping in the sea, has rapidly grown. Better for the 'head' than the body!! PS Irish Corporate Tax is, as it is everywhere now, 15%

Zelenskyy (sorry, I should have used his proper prefixes of Saint and Hero) laughed his actor's laugh at the suggestion of N's in his country but we know better. “It doesn’t rain that much” I had to stop you there. I was born in Ireland and was sensible enough to get out of there in 1988 for Australia, best thing I ever did. The Roman’s refused to invade Ireland, that just about sums it up. Dublin has become a refugee/Asylum seeker hub, if you walk down O’Connell Street you’d be lucky to hear anyone speak English. The medical system in Ireland is third world at best, going backwards at a rare of knots, 3 weeks to get blood test results is the norm. Ireland is a dump.
