The Dallas hate in Houston originated in the late seventies and early eighties. We hate the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. We hate the Dallas Cowboys. We hate the TV show "Dallas". Yeah, Dallas was a major player in domestic oil at the time, but Houston was the center of the international oil trade at the time. Houston imported and refined oil, but also exported refined products to some of the countries the oil came from. Does Dallas have a port? No. No ships? not a world city.

I’ve been to Houston twice fam. The first time someone checked me and told me I was pronouncing it too proper (I’m from NC) and told me to slur it some more 😂😂 The second time I got lost and was randomly walking through a neighborhood which they knew I wasn’t from there but instead of putting a green light on me they made sure I was good and figured out my way around the city. That's my home. I was born at Kingwood Hospital. You should see us post-Hurricane it's a big party like everyone in the neighborhood if you didn't flood you were at someone's house in the neighborhood ripping out carpet, drywall, etc and having a beer. I talked to my neighbor down the road twice in 2 years but I was in their house working. But don't get me wrong everyone's packing a gun. Never go anywhere on 1960 during rush hour. It's funny though I moved to Colorado and my best friend is from Dallas, we constantly talk mess to each other. Keep up the awesome vids man.

Born and raised in Houston (Hobby Airport area) and while the people may be nice the traffic is horrible. Been living South of Houston closer to Galveston for 10 years now and avoid driving to Houston as much as possible! Unfortunately due to work I'm looking at having to move North of Houston soon, maybe to Cypress or Humble area, POSSIBLY Jersey Village...but I will NEVER live in South Houston again! But as far as different cultures, things to do and food go, Houston definitely has it all! everything

H- TOWN.. 💯💯✊✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿. Houstonians are FAMILY.. we have been thru hell (every summer) thru hurricanes 🌀.. floods.... and we all love our neighbors (during the storms) but no one Messes with Houston.. Dallas just wishes it was Houston.. they get snow.. we don't..(usually)..

Born and raised in H-town and been around the world as well. Agree with a lot you said.... except the nicest people in the country statement. There's some real sincerely nice people here, although so many are true a-holes!

I used to live in Houston, and I currently live in Dallas. You were absolutely correct. Dallas is great, but there’s no place on Earth as good as Houston. The one exception is that the economy and housing markets in Dallas are a little bit better.
