with the right auto strain you can pull +1 Pound every 8 to 10 weeks in a 4x4. i have been doing it for 2 years now. +5 lbs a year for personal use and gifting.

They are shite, all taste the same and grow to pathetic sizes, just grow a female and its always better 100% of the time, autos are a waste of soil and a waste of time. if you had been growing fem plants you would be getting 3x the yeild you are claiming your getting with autos.

I do perpetual autos. Working my way through fastbuds beans at the moment. Got 2 original amnesia haze auto by fastbuds on the go and 2 cheap beans popped about 1 week ago, all under mars hydro fc3000. Fastbuds never fail when it comes to potency and flavours. As for growing autos, i love the challenge of having to keep everything dialled in perfectly to achieve the best possible results. Every run is a challenge and learning curve ✌💚

On my first run of autos, 5 Sour Diesel, 5 Do Si Dos. Went straight to the final 5 gallon grow bags, kept in the tents under 18/6 until they started to do their natural thing. Moved them all outside (Arizona). Plants average 42” tall, started from seed Jan 21st. Curious what each will yield. One benefit I see so far from running autos is less watering over time, less lighting requirements over time and definately far less nutrients over time as compared to a photo run.

Great info with the auto's it's always nice when you share your knowledge with us. I've been growing auto's for about a year and a half and have grown White Widow, Blue Cheese, Critical Mass and am now growing Granddaddy Purple's. And I'd like to share a few things I've learned about auto's that seem to be relevant to all despite the strain. I recommend starting in the pot that they will finish in, it's very easy to stunt an auto and all the small stuff like a couple stunted days here and there add up. Also training is a big deal to them! LST is the way to go, or should I say lst on the side stems is good. I don't recommend bending the main stalk over due to the auto not veging long enough to produce any sizable colas coming up from stem but lst the heck out of the side limbs and bud sites. And for the big one, to top or not to top?!? Most say don't do it but I've had nice luck and returns from topping my auto's. This is where auto's and photo's really show their differences, auto's are fine to top you just have to do it a bit sooner than you would on a photo. On my photos I like to wait a bit untill like the 5th node, but by the time an auto hits the fifth, or even fourth, it's probably thinking about flowering soon. So I've found that doing above like the second node is a good time to snip it. It's still in the fast grow to make leaves and such so it recovers fast and new growth within a few days is pretty good. 'll be doing a run of mephisto genetics which I'm going to start 1 skywalker and 1 forum stomper and wait about a month then start another 1 of each to try get my autos set up and just keep starting 2 every month to have a couple of plants every month or thats the plan anyway

@@Molybdan42 3 bears og, bear assed monkey, 4 assed monkey, creme de La Chem, Mephisto's Wedding, and heisenberg special. I'm sure there are others I've either grown or smoked. But those are all that I have saved so those were really good experiences from what I recall.

There is a very short window to transplant autoflowers. I prefer to plant the seed directly into the final pot. I have about a 40% success rate with transplanting them.

I transplant 2-3 times with each auto. If done correctly it can extend its veg time and produce much larger autos

I did autos 2 years ago and probably will never run them again unless I get bored and cross it to a strong sative photo. Best breeder for autos for me is barney's farms. Autos x Photos = Fast flowering. Apparently it can veg like a photo and flowers mature way faster.

I figured out that auto flower is about the Tap root once it hits the bottom of the pot it'll flower 😉 happy growing hopefully that'll help someone else.

Bruh! I'm doing that with my photo's. Once I had my super soil mix dialed in correctly I'm all good. I veg a clone for only 30 days and flower 60 days +/- a day or two. I also chose the right strain to give me a big meaty harvest. I do keep three mother plants so I don't have to toke on the same thing all the time. I take clones when I need them. Doing my second run Auto with 'Bruce Banner' - they are no plant any more it is a machine - incredible good results, incredible golf ball nugs and phantastic quality, even the sugar leafes are frosty (no joke)- One of my new favorite. Also to consider is the >Auto 'Pinapple Express' another great auto flower strain. I just love this 2 ladies....there is no more difference to photo's in quality, strength, taste but they are much faster!

Autos are great for winter crop. Keep the lights on 24/7 if needed to help keep temperatures up.. Keeps costs down on heating.. Only reason i use them lol. ✌️

I'm interested in trying some newer Autos. Growing from seed mostly, unless I have a "keeper" or two aside. Starting regular photoperiod seeds from scratch, with my jars empty a few times lately, really made me wish I had a few Autos that would get done quickly. Some decent flowers are great until the bigger, better ones are ready, rather than nothing but expensive mids mostly, here in a Hemp only State.👍💯✌️🙏

This is my first year growing Autos and I'm doing it outside in 3gl fabric pots. I'm struggling with them because they are not growing any branches. I only have a 6-inch cola on top and the lower buds never moved away from the nodes. I'm using Cronk Nutrients Perma bundle- Bonnie, CalMag, Clyde and Bud Boost. I've done my best to follow Cronks feeding schedule but it's been difficult with the frequent rain. At this point I'm just going to be grateful for what I have, chalk it up to a learning experience and give it a go again next year. Hopefully I will figure out what I did wrong by then.

To my understanding… crossing auto with photo will produce “fast flower”… it will be a photo, but flower much quicker, but won’t be auto. I would really like to create my own auto strain. I’ll have to buy a ruderalis land race to cross with a photo, I believe that’s the correct way to produce autoflower seeds. Male/female or female/male. Or take the easier route and just cross 2 auto strains, but I’ve never heard of male autos. I was told by a seed company that all autos are female…?

I started with autos and once I tried photos, the difference was night and day imo. Photos beats autos in yield and thc content ime hands down! Sure autos can be fire and some yield decently but its honestly more consistent in photos!

Are you in Denver? If you are, there’s a kick ass Seed Bank near you… I don’t remember the name but they have some killer seeds! Denver was my favorite place to cruise around being a blind person I really love 16th St. mall a.k.a. 16th and California. Lol. anyway, I was curious when I heard one of your videos stating that you was in Denver… and if you are, that’s freaking sweet… and for me, I just like to grow no matter if it’s auto flowers or photos, or even regular gardening… If you like to grow, why not just grow what you want to try, people don’t have to knock the auto flowers just out of other peoples feelings about them, try growing them. They are absolutely fascinating on how fast they are. If a person likes growing plants, why not give them a try they smoke just as well as photos! A lot of people do knock on the auto flowers, I know a lot of my friends won’t mess with auto flowers me I don’t care I just like to grow different plants, being a blind person I find it fascinating… One time I had a auto flower called shadow OG, right out of the growing medium, It popped and started to flower immediately no vegg time no other growth just popped out of soil and started flowering. I thought it was the funniest damn thing ever that I felt… the bud was the size of your thumb an about 1 inch tall lol lol lol And from there I found auto flowers absolutely fascinating. And I have no problem growing them… all the different strains are unstable anyway, being an auto flower! They’re on a set track that is for sure… And out of experience, growing auto flowers, Depending on the strain, you get, definitely depends on the strain! some are small, Sun can be even smaller,lmao but there are some that can produce very extremely large buds! but as usual! kick ass content again! loved it from Oklahoma❣️

Autos are great, but they are certainly different and do not easy recover from mistakes, but if some is aware of all these issues you can have great results in minimum time. For me 'Bruce Banner Auto', 'Gorilla Cookies Auto' and 'Pinapple Express Auto' are just 2 phantastic plants whith lots of very potent & tasty product. I will not go back any more. There is the discussion that Autos are just not as potent or not have the taste as the photo's- this may have been in the past but the new generation Autos are short of nothing - if some would try them without knowing, you would not taste or feel the difference. For me Autos are a great, new way of growing, getting best results in minimum time. I have experience in photo's and since 2 years Autos and I will stay with the fast ones. Have a high good time....and happy gardening...

You forgot to say one this fam!!! Self pollinating your own autos with silver spray o forget exact name or ingredients but you spray on plants a female an make her grow Hermie sacks an it self pollinates it's self an you make feminized seeds of the exact mother!! You may have a little differences in each one but I have had great luck buy a pack an make all the beans I want lol sounds easy but it's a little work cause no1 wants seeds in there bud but when you have a purpose for it the next time you do them you won't after you find the kind you like an it's like that mac1 an jack you make your fem seeds an the only thing I found is some grow a little different. Say I will have a few that flower quicker an stay small and some that take 90to100days to finish but hey you made em yourself right you live and learn! Then when you find 2 great autos you like you self pollen 2kinds either way and you make your own fire you can even name now!!!! Lol your own sounds good free free free!!!!
