Yes, it is correct. If it weren't, I wouldn't have put it in the lesson. Using the present continuous tense to talk about temporary situations in that way is extremely common. Do a Google search for 'present continuous for temporary situations' and you will see plenty of similar examples. Or consult any grammar book and you will see the same thing.

Thank you very much for this video. Yes, it’s a learning experience of a lifetime! I’m 65 years from the Philippines. I have a business degree from the University of the Philippines, one of the most prestigious university in the country. I am a Certified Public Accountant. But I feel very insecure and lack of confidence. Honestly, my English communication skills in reading, speaking, writing, and listening, is below average. My vocabulary is inadequate. I can’t remember idiomatic expression. I am not aware of the rules on constructing a good sentence, nor the proper usage of punctuation marks. I my lifetime, honestly, have not finished reading a book. I have not written an essay nor articles in my professional life. I also do not have interest watching English movies, cartoons nor TV series. In TV, I always tuned in at sports channel because I’m an avid fan of professional golf and lawn tennis. Today, I’m truly blessed and inspired to open your 2 videos. The about punctuation marks and how to improve my proficiency in English as a speaker and writer and etc. This is the beginning of my English journey. I learnt(still learning) English through implicit learning by playing video games, watching english movies and shows. Most of the time i would not know if im using the correct grammar, but tend to focus only on 'is it making sense'. School taught me less than what ive learnt through external sources, and can say im bit more elequont now. And by far yours is one among the best English teaching channel on yt.

well i read from wattpad English novels instead of newspapers and i make screenshots at the new vocabularies that i want to learn in the whole sentences and also make sentences of my mind . and i listen to talk channels on radio. at the evening i watch series everyday but without subtitles .. and i watch a grammar lesson video from your channel everyday 😃

EXCELLENT IDEAS!! I already instructed three of my ONLINE students in India to do this...I was encouraging them to read the newspaper, they also wrote 5 sentences for me everyday describing the day but I liked adding 10 words of things they can look around, write down and send me! I also liked the idea of TV shows and of recapping the day! Brilliant! You are actually helping me become a good teacher. Also studying for the PREMIER TEFL COURSE through the Ireland school which I am thoroughly enjoying!! You are certainly God sent! Thanks again :-)

I already have those habits, except the recap and I don't read much also I try but it makes doze off. However, lately I've been feeling more confident with my English specially my listening has improved a lot and that's because of TV series. I watch them several times, write down the whole context when I don't understand and search it, then when I watch again the show it really works I do understand it without any subtitles and it's easier for me to memorize it.
