I'm excited about the movement and traversal. It feels like the old games where Kratos would use his blades to grapple or move quickly on walls. Kratos in 2018 felt slow when he was climbing anything, which to be fair was probably because he had to carry Atreus everywhere. Now, that burden is off his back, Kratos can use his old tricks again.

Kratos literally moved a nearly 2 million ton bridge against water and flipped a temple. Kratos jus wanted to be slow

@@ambiguousambassador Yeah he chose to be slow because he had to take Atreus into consideration. The Atreus from the beginning of the game wouldn't be able to handle all the things Kratos could do (just look at 'Crossing the Lowlands' in GoW2). I'm not totally sure the Atreus of now can handle the things Kratos can do.

What I love to see is how devs talk. And how they truly listened the fans and tried to respect their wishes. That is how every studio should work. You see the devs you see them happy, when they talk about what they did - the features, the combat, the art... it is genuine and from the heart. Not like many studios where devs sound like they learned some text beforehand and now are just like parrots talking what they learned. Also, there is no that fake commentary like we listened the fans and changed things (in reality they changed just a couple of small things) or they listened and changed but that pays extra. These devs from Santa Monica actually listened. The point is - do what you love because you love it and money will come running by itself.

I'm still playing 2018, lost count of the NG+ I'm running but it has not lost it's spark for me. I've always loved the banter in it and could listen to Mimir's stories over and over. I'm wondering if I should wait till I get a PS5 to get this as I'm still on my PS4.

Tbh trilogies aren’t as good an idea as they used to be. Games could be made with decent polish in a few years with right team. Like 2-3 on average. But now even a moderately meaty game takes half a decade each. Plus post launch support that everyone expects. So unless a game is the biggest game ever it’s not worth it commit to a trilogy anymore.

Alternatively, they both order their weapons to return in different ways. Kratos isn’t really respectfully waiting, because he wouldn’t tolerate his ax not returning. Im not sure he would anticipate there is any other option.

Not to sound cynical but since the first trailer I was underwhelmed by the visuals. The fact its out on PS4 also makes me think they built the game for PS4 and just optimised for PS5.
