Hello Eric, I love your passion for watches and hope you all the best in your new business. Nevertheless, let me clarify all these five things you've mentioned in the video and I wish all Rolex fans don't attack me for expressing the other side of truth: 1- Rolex is not the only Company that make all its components in-house. Several companies are already make their components and also make for others. And when we call back that Rolex actually bought all manufacturers used to make parts for Rolex till 2004 we will realise the story. 2- 904L is neither the best nor most expensive stainless steel as difference in price per tone is very small compared to 316L which all big and historical watchmakers use. The biggest difference with 904L is more Nickel & lower carbon which means more shiny & lower hardness unfortunately (look like white gold) that's why it's not recommended to polish Rolex morethan three time in their entire life (others can go till 7 times) 100% sure about it. Some people face allergy because of higher level of Nickel !! Ask Scientists 3- agree. 4- Having in-house foundry has nothing to do with quality at all as there are companies with 100s years experience in gold industry more than Rolex. It's just management decision against Risk threats (availability, confidentiality, cost, investment etc) 5- The deepest point on earth was reached with OMEGA Planet Ocean ULTRA DEEP. This is very known and small search on Google will give you more details. By the way, The OMEGA ULTRA DEEP watch were tested in lab to 15,000 meters depth!! Should do an Omega one too. I just learned recently that Omega was the first watch company to use 904l Steel back in the day, but they let it go and resourced it somewhere else. Also, Rolex did start on London :P

What you said about 904L steel is true but it’s not harder than 316L steel, you loose strength in order to gain corrosion resistance and have a better polish, that doesn’t make it weak, I just thought someone might enjoy knowing a little more about the differences in stainless steel 🤷🏼‍♂️
