All of my Cockers Spaniels were to sent to me by God. Raggedy Ann died in my arms with her tail wagging . Lady and Andy now rest with her in a garden . I got a puppy again and she was black and never noticed till I got her home that she had a white heart on her nose . . I named her Rainbow " God's Promise " . She would lay on top of my head years ago and curl up with me . Lick me to sleep . Then I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer . Brain tumors . Miraculously I am still here after nearly three years . Spoil her . Yearn for her , hold her and give thanks . I don't have the means to have her shorn and vets . I trust in God . Even if she has a shortened life . She was and will always know how much I love her .. In many ways some might conclude I am a bad pet parent because I can't afford anymore material things .. I am loved , she is loved . She is my Angel

Preko noci je jaukala,dozivala me. Nasla je van kreveta sa oduzetim udovima.samo je repom mahala i malo glavu pomerala.slogirala se.prestala jaukati kad sam je uzela. Morala sam pozvati veterinare da je uspavaju.sama je sahranila u blizini. Obilazim grob,samo da joj kazem koliko mi nedostaje😥😥😥😥. U svakom novom psu bih trazila,bas nju i jos se ne usudjujem naci stene.pas za nezaborav.😥.l.P.

I too, love my ACS with all my heart. He was abandoned by his previous owners so didn’t come to me until he was 10 yrs old. He is 14.5 now, deaf and losing his sight but still totally adorable.

Hi Sally, at what age did your ACS ears and eyes deteriorated? My ECS is a sniffer my son adopted at age 7 from the Police Academy. He is 11 now. He has very good temperament and never barked once in these 4 years. We initially thought he's mute. Maybe he's trained not to bark as he needs to sniff drugs and the drug addicts may run away if he bark at them.

We had our 1st English Working Cocker Spaniel as our first family pet and he could not have been a better canine companion. Intelligent, eager to please, and full of beans but with a heart of gold and a true loving nature. He lived with us until he died of old age and has never been out of our thoughts since. We are collecting an 8 week old pup this weekend which will be our 2nd of the same breed. They can never be replaced but we are looking forward to giving this pup a loving forever home.

Awe! Bless you! I just adopted a 10 week-old English Cocker a couple of weeks ago (she is 12 weeks today) . This is my first with this breed and I must say, she is so very smart! She has done really well at the puppy classes and at home (still working on the potty training, but it is coming along (she is crate trained which helps). Good luck with your little one!

Sounds like a great companion. We have had our English cocker for almost a year now and as you said, we could have not chosen a better dog. They require a lot of maintenance and interaction, but if you have the time to devote then they make amazing companions!

I adooted my beautiful Cocker a year ago, and she's almost 5 now. She's wonderful, loving, cuddly and pretty laid back. She has a few issues from a sad background of neglect, but it's improving. Loves her walks, but sleeps in every day till nearly 10, if I leave her! Would eat all day, so I need great self control... those eyes are hard to ignore!

We have a retired working cocker spaniel. Her name is Mini - for a good reason. She’s small for her breed. She loves snuggles, getting in your personal space and food. We give her pieces of cucumbers and carrots as snacks and she loves them.

My Coco is everything you mentioned. She is very loving. We learned that she didn’t like the chaos of visitors and one time bit a kid. So we tell kids not to s team or run when visiting. Cocker Spaniels are very loving

We av a cocker spaniel it's her 1st birthday nxt week she is so beautifull and we love her so much she takes a lot of focusing but once you av her attention she learns quite quickly we av only had her 6 months but I can't imagine life without her

When you like down, she comes and loves checking you and likes to know you are all right. The most loving member of our family. She is very sensitive to harsh behaviour. I love my English cocker spaniel but u are all kidding if u think they are sweet, when Eddie was a pup we called him the tasmaining devil, now 7 and has his moments Still but is so lovable and kept me sane when covid was bad, but definitely hard work for anyone who thinks they are easy to handle but i wouldn't part with him saying that

My brothers cocker spaniel is very energetic and loving,her owner is always at work and only really is able to let her out in the back garden ,here and there I'll take her for a walk. She needs more? ,they say atleast an hour aday? What would you guys recommend. As some say dog hours are the same as us human and some articles say an hour for us is several for them. True or not I'm not sure. However this dog ,not sure what her sleep schedule is like but she'll get up usually between 6.30-7-30. Also my dog usually only runs and picks up her toys in the garden. Is we go on a walk,she'll chase it but doesn't pick it up as she's so intrigued with new surroundings. I'm trying to train her to walk beside me on a lead when we walk. Just hope it isn't too late as she's 1yr and 4/5 months or so. Such a lovely,energetic, loving dog ,she had potential to be in competitions and I just don't want to waste her potential or her life. At the same time wanting her to know who her actual owner Is

I love our working cocker, but he’s temperamental. He’s fine one minute, then growls if you try and stroke him the next. He’s lashed out at me a couple of times. But this is 0.5% of the time.. It’s strange. Assuming it’s something to do with dominance. He’s 8 months old.

I had a cocker he was the best digdog to have he was more than a pet he was family. He was brought into my family when I was 9 and as he got older he basically became The Dude. He was so loyal, compationet, calm yet playful and would always stick to my side when I walked him; even if I let him off he was always so chill. I miss him so badly now he was 14 when he was put to sleep and I can safely say that cocker spaniels are some of the best breeds to have.
