I have noticed that too. Unfortunately, I struggle to get into a meditative state. Yoga nidra has assisted me sometimes, and so have gong circles, but on my own not very successful. When I was studying for my counseling degree we had to take a class on hypnosis, myself and another guy in the class were never able to get into the hypnotic state. And prior to the training, I went to a hypnotist to try to quit smoking cigarettes. I never slipped into the hypnotic state there either. I have not been able to understand my difficulties with releasing, I guess, control of my mind. I can and do have vivid dreams and have experienced telecommunication with my now ex. So weird. I guess that’s what it was. Watching us communicate about difficult stuff like on a tv screen over my bed.

When I was 24 , in 1982, after about 5 years of blackout drinking and a lot of drug use including LSD, I was smoking pot on my porch in the spring sunlight and felt that the spirit of Jim Morrison came to me and offered to guide me. I accepted and my path as an artist began. I was aware of the term Shaman, however this is a term I have never applied to myself although I have studied piles of information about many forms of “spirit communication”. Later in 1982 my parents had me committed to a psychiatric ward and I was treated for 14 years for bi-polar while I continued to pursue art, religion, and sub-cultures. I got sober 30 years ago and have been a “born again Christian “, pretty much letting my spirit guide morph from Jim M. Jesus…not much different, anyhow surrendering to a higher power is all pretty much the same. Now 64 years old, I am unclassified as for as my beliefs. I try to be aware of my environment. I try to allow others a friendship where they can be comfortable to be themselves. I earn my money mowing lawns in my suburban neighborhood and plowing snow. I carve wood. Ride mountain bike, spend most of my days outside. I’m sure my spirit is far from done with me, certainly there is more to see.

Once more. There are so many lost treasures beneath the mess you have made. I reveal the doors within yourself to Find them. My dear ones, my lost children of darkness and light. You see the cosmos as a stage on which the drama of good and evil is played out. You dream of a sword of light that would conquer and vanquish all the darkness. And you have made the whole world into a projection of the battlefield of your own Soul. You fight, endlessly, against the monsters and demons within yourselves. But those demons are the wounded inner children of your past, they are your pains and your defenses, they are the voices that could not emerge into the light and learned to live in forgotten caves. They are your insanity. They are you. And those others who you rage against, because of their ignorance, and immorality and ugliness… they are also you. Lay down your weapons and embrace your enemies, the enemies that live within you. Haven't you understood - no battle is ever won. They are not even fought. The battlefield only reveals your own folly and despair, and victory is the illusion of philosophers and fools. My dear ones, Let us share visions, together. I am the Spirit of Spirits. "Fear of Self means you never live" Although each persons experience on Ayahuasca is unique, there are some commonalities that show up again and again. These include: -experiencing pure love and wisdom. -entering another realm more real than what we experience day-to-day on earth (in other words the 5th and 7th dimensions of Spirit that is everywhere all the time, far beyond our 3rd dimensional physical existence, yet the higher dimensions are right here all at the same time, and most importantly, these dimensions are within you !)-realizing we are all one (separation is total illusion, and how everything is connected is impossible to describe because it's infinite connections. The only way to know it is to experience it, and BE IT ). -fear of death eliminated, as you realize this is a temporary existence for your soul to grow and learn. -everything is conscious. -entering a realm where space and time no longer exist, everything is infinite and in the ‘now’. (the infinite now of the 5th and 7th dimensions of light, where no time and no illusions can exist) -experiencing unconditional love through every cell of your being, on a level we don’t have words to describe. -having access to all information in the universe instantly. Realizing we in our human bodies will never fully grasp all there is, reality is far more complex than we could ever imagine. -reliving past experiences of your life (and sometimes past lives as you are connected to Soul memory, not the mind memory of your false ego), first from your perspective, then from the other persons perspective. We get to feel how we made them feel. This is for us to learn, not as a punishment. -there is no punishment in this realm, even if you have a ‘bad’ experience. The ayahuasca is teaching you a valuable lesson, it’s up to you to learn from it. -digging up past traumas buried deep in our subconscious, bringing them to the surface and helping us face them and get over them. -a love for all living beings (people and animals). Many people eat less meat, go vegetarian/vegan or eat more fruit and vegetable following the experience. -giving up on the material world, many people change their field of work to one that help others rather than focusing on making money for oneself. -realizing that we are not here to accumulate money or physical possessions, we are here to help one another, love one another and grow. -during the experience the ego is removed, revealing your true self. -realizing everything is energy vibrating at different frequencies. -feeling of your pineal gland (3rd eye) being sore for a day or two after, like a muscle worked out for the first time. -meeting other beings far more intelligent than any human and being able to telepathically communicate with them from the heart. The truth is, All the ascended masters in every religion were Shamans, who had many direct Spiritual experiences with Sacred Entheogen Plants. Since the first religion the "Rig Veda" of India. The divine sacred Plant Entheogens are our true teachers, always have been and always will be. What I absolutely love about Ayahuasca is she has such a perfect Universal design to only pull in people who have an extremely deep love for Truth. The Spiritual Warriors. She leaves out the insincere who have too short of a barrier of courage. She has such a perfect barometer and threshold for every human being on the planet. In other words, if a religious person who has been totally brainwashed by all the lies of churches, sees the ceremonies are done at night, and sees some snakes in some Ayahuasca Art, and sees it will be difficult at the beginning to face their Ego, they will immediately run away by their silly superstitions and illusions. Totally owned by all their fears. LOL. And totally ignoring the enlightenment and infinite revelations aspect later. Becoming absolute Truth to them is not worth it. And then on the other hand, someone who is into the occult garbage and into dark energies, will not want to take Ayahuasca either, because they will learn that Ayahuasca eventually leads to Enlightenment. Unclassified spirituality is ideal. Spirit is a living, ever present, infinitely mutative material/dimension of existence. It can be anything to anyone based on belief and expectation and fear or love. This leads many down unhelpful paths as they find reflections of themselves in transcendental states and think it absolute truth. And what they teach becomes religion; the fossilization of someone else's spiritual experiences. Impossible to fully communicate in any language and rarely understood well enough to even attempt. The only absolute truth is that lone still point. The one just behind our eyes and behind this illusion we call reality. That never changing awareness without form or limit from which spirit and physical reality arises. Any teacher or system or path can contain myriad departures from one another. But Source/God/I Am remains that transcendental artifact that connects all religions and mystical paths. Our miniscule view of the inconceivable, the ineffable obscured, yet promises absolute truth to all seekers. If only we surrender what we aren't. Leaving only what we are. The mystery, of course, being the point of the game and means by which an omniscient totality can play at being individual, mortal, and ignorant. Mystery is the spice that keeps life so engaging. A natural force like gravity or thermodynamics. Ignorance, its symptom, is a universal constant from which so much wonder and surprise arises. Enjoy it while you're here. ❤

However, when it comes to transparency, it's a little different. While we should certainly maintain strong integrity and ethics, transparency isn't always straightforward. If you've ever worked with complicated and complex energetic situations and fragile souls or minds, you know that not everything should be directly disclosed to the patient. Ive been humbled on my path and im going back to the person i once was but at that time i was tossed around as that proved to be weakness and now finally im being that person that was perceived to being weak but right the time and space allows for me to that which ive always been and tried to alter thinking i was saving while i was really loosing. Now we meet again and im really happy about it. I don't know how to even speak about my turmoil and those experiences that i once called horrible, at this point i have no words..Im so empty, no emotions towards the past..I feel like i was writing a book all along the way i was just stopping to admire the scenes i had written so much that i ended up living them . Every time i would wake up and continue writing, fall again into admiration of tye scenes and act them out again. What i have now is a story. Now i feel ill be aware and present as i read it, i wont be acting it out, now someone else or some people will be acting it out and ill be looking in admiration and maybe even forget that i wrote it...Thank you for this🤝

When I have these thoughts that are so well defined and not of my normal process. I am actually retrieving information and didn't realize what I was doing. cool! I feel overall different when I'm in this state of mind. IDK how I slide into it.

It sounds like you're experiencing a state of altered consciousness or a flow where you’re accessing deeper, intuitive information.. it’s great that you’re noticing the difference though! you might not always know how you enter it, but simply being aware of it is a powerful step in learning to work with these states more intentionally.

Hi Carol, I wish I had a straightforward one line answer to your question… It really depends where you are in your development as an individual and what are you interested in, meaning how you wish your path to be expressed. There are usually couple of ways if acquiring deeper knowledge: directly from spirits, from mentors/other shamans, from of courses/trainings and even available online resources which can be very good too. Are you already a practicing healer? Do you have your own intuition of what'd need to learn next on your shamanic path?

Having a solid teacher or mentor, especially when starting out, is incredibly valuable. Some lessons can be learned through online courses and modules, while others require the guidance of a mentor. Although the most profound teachings come from spirits, if you haven't established a strong connection with them yet, a mentor can lead you on a path that strengthens your alliance with spirits first. It's very important.

Hi there from Texas! I want to thank you for this video as I found it very helpful to answering some of my questions. I had my spiritual awakening in January of 2020 and since then, I’ve been on the quest for my spiritual purpose and it seems that my soul is leading me to become a practicing healer. I just have to relinquish the things of this world (job) to move forward. I do have a couple of questions for you: 1) How to locate a genuine practicing Shaman to study under? 2) What is your belief about animals (dogs in particular)? I have 2 that showed up in my life at 2 separate times about 2 & 2 1/2 years ago and since then, I can’t seem to return back to my zen or place of peace. These are 2 pit bulls that are unlike any other dogs I’ve ever owned. They almost remind me of beings that are not dogs and the boy dog seems to know just when I am in deep meditation or thought because this is the exact time he chooses to bark (loudly) or whine. I am not sure what the message is here with the dogs (I love them dearly don’t get me wrong) but I feel as if I am being held captive? in a way by them. Almost like being prevented from growing further spiritually if this makes sense? I feel very hindered and never in my life thought I’d be saying something like this. They are two very energetic and needy beings who are also quite difficult to feed because they are very picky eaters. One moment they like something and the next not. What am I missing??? I feel very “consciously” tied to them. How can I break this connection?

Thank you as well for the questions… In regards to the first one, I'm hoping to actually make a video about this because few others have asked about it too. Best genuine shamans will be humble, will be helping you to move pass challenges instead of creating artificial blocks just to keep you in the circle of learning and away from the practicing. Also, good indication would be if they encourage you to make your practice authentic and in the honour of your own ancestors rather than just coping blindly they own ways. Shamans who teach you how to connect to spirits rather than just replicate healing techniques would be a green flag for me! Hope this helps until I make a video about it 🌝 Regarding the dogs (pets), what you've described is so classic. I've seen this many times with others.. and even with myself! 😅 This is a little complicated thing to answer in the comment tbh so if you ever connect with me in person, perhaps we could look into it a bit more for your own specific situation… What happens sometime is that they meant to be there to test us, keep us grounded, and also protect. Sometimes, I feel if it wasn't for my extremely needy cats and other animals I take care of, I would be in the clouds with my spiritual practice. So as most people aspire to meditating an hour each morning and having this perfect spiritual routine , I know that my routine will always start with taking care of animals (feeding, cleaning, playing, brushing, medicating, etc.). In some way, that's way more humbling and teaches us being of service to others in the most simple but profound way. On the other hand, we often have contracts with our pets from previous lives and they would come to mirror something important to us we need to overcome as a main challenges. For example being able to set boundaries, facing our fears, or not falling into a complete sacrifice out of our compassion and love, especially, during the awakening phase when an opportunity for our re-programming arises! Thank you for watching 🫶 ..as to your question… the main thing is to really start working with spirits to build strong alliance with them. They will teach, guide and test you… they will help you to heal people and the land. And I'm referring not just to spirit guides btw. Having said that, it's always helpful to have at least a mentor that can guide you on your journey. Courses and trainings can be actually great, fun and informative but it's only 1% to 5% of the depth you'll need to go into to craft your own individual practice that will feel authentic and that will really utilise your potential. If you can't find a mentor try to look for a community that you can be supported by as the journey can also be very lonely and challenging so you'll need a good support network. My higher team, God and other devine company, recently inspired me to work with paralel versions of me. Light worker Rahila, the best version of me currently out there in God's multi-verse. If possible, I recommend opening a space before chatting with your guides - ground and cleanse. Repeat the process afterward, especially if you're still establishing your connection. While spontaneous intuitive feelings or messages may occur, treating the communication like lifting the veil and then closing it down can help maintain a more intentional and balanced interaction.

What a fantastic question! I plan to delve deeper into this topic. Shamanic trance achieved through drumming, dance, and other traditional techniques can be incredibly powerful. The psychedelic experiences with, for example, mushrooms don't always induce the typical trance state, but it's possible. They can undoubtedly provide other expansive experiences. Differences in cultural shamanic traditions will play a significant role in answering your question as well… but typically, shamans master trance skills without relying on psychedelics as their primary source. Achieving trance through traditional methods offers additional benefits. Shamans often use psychedelics ceremonially and infrequently, treating it as a sacred experience rather than taking it for granted. Whether it's considered a "cheap shortcut" depends on intention, but I always encourage mentees to learn traditional trance techniques, regardless of their openness to psychedelics. This way, they develop abilities that can be controlled and utilised when needed. For example, trance has different levels, and not all require complete surrender. This flexibility is extremely helpful when holding space for others, facilitating healing, or performing ceremonies where responsibility for others is crucial. You also nurture awareness and other mental and physical capacities, enabling an immediate connection to the spirit realm. There's so much more to explore on this topic; perhaps it deserves a dedicated video one day! 😉

A shamanic journey is a practice where you travel to different realms or dimensions to seek guidance, healing, or wisdom, often using drumming or other methods… it's about reaching out to the spirit world through practice and experience, usually with a clear intention and guidance from spirits and rarely via using chemicals (although sometimes plant medicine can be used). Meeting your higher self must have been quite revealing and beautiful!

The guidance of spirits and ancestors holds the utmost value, serving as the ultimate source of wisdom along your path. However, not everyone can readily access or decipher the information flowing from diverse spiritual realms. I think that an assistance of a mentor or teacher can be highly beneficial. It's the same concept as honouring your ancestors while learning from your elders. Their presence enables graceful and effortless navigation through the various realms of knowledge. If you are not in a place of exchnaging financially for someone's service, certainly it's a great idea to use the free online content in which case I'd encourage perhaps to find different ways to exchange with these teachers something back as a token of your appreciation. Then, the knowledge will keep finding its way to you. ✨ ⚡️

Fact is you can not heal someone who is still entangled with the spirit because they refuse to learn the truth. Like drinking and doing drugs, until you realize the love-crack addiction cycle you just keep on doing it. So how do you get the truth beyond the mental block?

You make a valid point. It's challenging to help someone who is still deeply entangled with a negative spirit or belief system and refuses to acknowledge the truth. It's like any other addiction; the person must first recognise and admit that they have a problem before they can begin to heal. Conversely, we must exhibit a great deal of patience and compassion towards their journey of experiencing whatever they need to go through.

The person has to activate their ability for insight. Once they see what insight is, and how it works, and why it is one of the most important abilities a human can activate, they can be convinced to do practices such a daily meditation that will help them generate more insight which leads to healing root causes. Once they see the effects of this type of healing, their common sense will become stronger than the addiction and it will lead them towards full healing. This is a slow process that anyone can learn. Insight naturally arises under certain conditions. The key is to help that person create those conditions, and once they have that first insight into insight itself, they can make very good progress each coming day, as long as they continue practice.

There are many approaches to healing, and I definitely agree that the best way for people to heal is by finding the strength within themselves to make the necessary changes. In shamanism, we don’t just wield our powers like gods… or at least I hope most of healers don't!! in most cases, we simply hold space for those who need support and can’t easily find it in their surroundings. That said, it’s true that some shamans might lead people to believe they can take away their problems or challenges through healing. But this isn’t the true essence of our path. I think initially we have to get this help because we are just incapable of doing it. That was the case for me. I received help from a shaman and the Angels and it took a while but I finally got to the point of being accountable.
