Idk why but I kinda feel satisfied when they said Korean women prefer men to shave their legs. In other countries it's a norm only for women, because men prefer women with shaved legs. I'm glad there is somewhere in the world that men can also understand our struggle about keeping up with beauty norms like shaving body hair, caring about skin or hair and using cosmetics. I just hate when men expect women to be perfect like a doll while themselves doing literally nothing.

I do wish that beauty wasn't emphasized so much, and that standards of beauty weren't so impossibly high. I don't think it's good for anyone when we think that we are ugly unless we spend tons of time and money on all these products. It's very illuminating to hear these two talk about feeling insecure and worrying that they won't be able to get dates due to their looks. They're both extremely handsome, with or without cosmetics. I myself am very insecure about my appearance, but people have told me before that I'm beautiful. And, I guarantee that idols worry about their appearances, too. I kind of wish we could all make a resolution together to look uglier. 😂 Just so looking normal could be normal.

Korean women like men who are neat, clean, tidy, fashionable, and cute etc. They like men who take very good care of themselves, such as skin care, fashion, looks etc. Korean women in genera dont like men who are untidy with beard or lots of hair on their body, that is why Korean men shave their hair, not because they want to but because they want to be selected(?)by Korean women. It feels like they are taking as much care of themselves as girls do, the hair trimming, skin care, fashion, cosmetics etc etc. I think it's cool. It's so different from most of the guys that you'll meet in the west. I wish guys in my country also took more care of themselves because I also find it quite attractive, but they don't give a damn lol. For me, I won’t deny that I started watching channels like this after I got into kpop and kdrama, but I didn’t fall soo hard into it just because of kpop. I genuinely fell in love with the culture, food, respect (like the bowing) and yes the entertainment is on another level. I think it's true that Korean men's (and Asian men in general) expectations are so high because of Kpop and Asian drama globalization, and I found it a little sad? I mean, yes, celebrities are pretty but don't expect everyone to look like them, everyone had his own charm and is unique in his own way. ~ Also, I found it funny, Hoseung and Suho talked about all the things we should know about Korean men... But I'm a Canadian man and do all that too (I didn't do GongYoo's hair or coma's hairstyle, but still)? XD' I have a two blocks haircut, I stick to my skincare routine, put on makeup, think the night before to prepare my outfit, often inspire my outfit from a celebrity when I found what they wear pretty. The same applies to my haircut, I often show pictures of celebrities with a similar face shape and/or features as me to my hairdresser, because if it looks that way on them, it will look similar on me. For me, it's normal to take care of myself or look presentable when I meet someone, but not all Canadians think like me. I think it's just a cultural difference here (and depends on every person too). ^ ^ P.S.: Hoseung and Suho are both awesome! Keep going guys! =D

I find very sad that a lot of things they said are done to please girls and not because they want to do it for themselves. If a person likes you, they like you because you are you... not because you shave your legs, put nipple patches or you have hair a certain way... If you have to change yourself because a person doesn't like this, then this person is not for you. I was numb just going through the motions of life, trying to process it all. When thumbing through Netflix to view something to take me away from reality for a while, a Korean drama came up in my feed. I watched “49 days” it was all about the recently passed, coming to terms with their life that had been cut short, so they could pass into the hereafter. It registered, I totally got it. That brought me back into the here and now, cemented my love K dramas. I’m an international fan. I even understand a few words and general sentences these days. When they were talking about men using male cosmetics and taking care of their skin and caring about fashion and all, I was like it should not be just korean men! This should be every man! I really like guys who take care of themselves, not just body-wise, but how they carry themselves and present themselves and how they take care of their skin and face and all. Here in India, doing all this means you're gay or are too girly and honestly that annoys me so much. All the hype that guys have over here is to get that 6 pack body and stuff but dude, that's good but that's not just it. Please along with that take care of yourselves. It's not about presenting yourselves in a way society or girls would want you to look, but I'm trying to say develop your own style and take care of yourselves. Nothing wrong with that. We really need to normalize self-care for guys as well, especially here in India.

First of all these two Korean young men look cute. They are funny, charming and engaging. Its good that they put a lot of effort to how they look cause that is a part of taking good care of yourself. They should just be themselves and stop copying the celebrities. For the record, if a guy uses too many beauty product, there will be doubts regarding sexuality. Treat women like how you want men to treat your sister. Listen and be sensitive. Good luck on your dating lives.

Also even bangtan boys are whitewashed and edited soo much which makes them look unreal. They are handsome no doubt. But I dont feel good when they promote SELF LOVE but then they have to carry soo much makeup just to satisfy those korean beauty standards. They are human too why dont people understand this. Why cant people just make it normal for them to not have makeup sometimes. They look beautiful even then. I really feel bad about this

And anyway.. they are cute! 😁 I'm Argentinian and here you'll get a lot of bad comments if as a guy you do some kind of skin routine. My boyfriend checks for blackheads, trims his eyebrows and sometimes uses cream.. and he doesn't care about what people say. I like he has nice skin ❤️

Nah but I'm trying to get these cuties to share some of that Jeong with me too.....It's true though, its more than just being friendly. Koreans do try to be as considerate as they can.
