In regards to the twist, I have added a metal channel to the bottom of my torch handle this gives me a corner to grab on to twist the torch. This helps me fight the twist in all the coolant hoses and allows me to be comfortable controlling my TIG button mounted to my torch.

hi... i would like to know one thing.... are you left handed? i have some difficult to feed the filler marerial, i am right handed and the left hand doesn't collaborate too much. i know that is a personal choise, but you think that is better to hold the torch whit the dominant hand and feed whit the other or otherwise to control better the rod? sorry for my english

Gas lens means less penetration and uses more gas. A No5 collet body cup and 2.4mm tungsten, can be used for just about all aluminium welding, and if a good strong weld, rather than a pretty look for videos, if the main concern the No 5 is the way to go.

@@lightmetalinc.6488 Very few pro welders use a gas lens on aluminium, as this means using more gas, and less penetration than a collet body. Pretty looking welds for video, are all very well but dont tend to work that great in the real world.

Gas lens for stainless. Skinny nozzle for aluminum. But there are narrow gas lenses
