As weird as it sounds, cartel bosses consider themselves honorable, similar concept as the italian mafia has it. If you insult them, they consider that as an attack on their honor. While for any normal person that would mean to ignore you, and go on with their life, for those guys... yeah, they can't let that slide. There's always someone looking for their position, so they go for brutal retaliation in many cases. This video basically shows fairly mild cases in comparison, especially since most came out unharmed- good for them. A couple of years ago, videos of cartel murders went kinda viral. That shit was haunting.
