For a 2.0 In Survivor Gabon, the episode 2 (Day 7) reward challenge was a repeat of Kicking and Screaming. Ace put Paloma on the pole. Paloma, the smallest member of the cast, was easily overpowered by Crystal and Randy freaking Bailey, costing Kota the reward challenge and Paloma her game later in the same episode. Hilariously, Ace also lost his round, yet somehow the possibly British real life super villain/Wardog 1.0 somehow managed to avoid any blame. Yes there is also James Miller's super knot, but everyone will think of that for a challenge anti-hack instead of the Kota self-forfeit of round 2 of Kicking and Screaming.

I think stacking the small blocks first could have been a hack if they had managed to balance it. It was a risky strategy but I don't think it was stupid

That way they would all get to eat without having to spend much money. He said when they started doing it Jeff caught on very quickly, got pissed and threatened to start covering every item. Also in Winners at War in the challenge where Adam almost couldn't get the key, he said in an interview that Sele put all of the smallest people in the boat because they would be the lightest and easiest for the swimmers to pull behind them. Peridiam: Happy Holidays to you. You do such a nice job. I have an idea: Doomsday scenario- Player A votes for Player B. Player B votes for Player C. Player C votes for Player D. Player D votes for Player A. Player E & Player F lose their votes due to a trip to the Summit conjoining with a Beware Advantage. All 6 players are in the same tribe. The tribe votes as such in Tribal council. Since not all of the players are tied, you do have a revote. It is just an empty revote. It is this Tribe's first Tribal Council. This is similar to the empty votes we saw in "Winner at War" & "Cambodia"; as opposed to no revote or vote: this is backed up by what we saw when Ulong had a 2-person Tribe, and when Circe was eliminated by default in "Game Changers". What happens here? To clarify, both players abstaining are not immune. And since it is a Tribe's first Council, former votes against may not be applied. *Plan A* My opinion is they would leave the two abstaining as not immune, and not voting. The votes are considered as 1-1-1-1; with 0 votes in the revote. The bottom two players in the Immunity challenge have their votes count against them. The top two finishers have their votes against nullified. Since the revote already technically occured, you would simply have a verbal discussion involving the two immune contestants. A lack of consensus results in the tied players becoming immune. Since all of the original tied were deadlocked, the punishment would be instead a new council. The four original voters keep immunity. This immunity comes at the cost of power. The voting members of the other Tribes would be forced into a _second ballot_ to avoid undue punishment. A tie means a fire challenge. *PLAN B* Any abstaining players who is not immune in the Council of the empty tiebreaker revote must plea their case to the the other Tribes' members. They do this isolated from the deadlocked members. Each vote for immunity is separate. If all players abstaining from the original vote are gifted immunity by the other Tribes: the other Tribes must vote under Final Council rules whom to be eliminated. If only a portion of the abstain become immune, those who do not enter a rock draw with the other not immune who did abstain (assuming it is not a default target). The loser of this rock draw faces a preselected person from the original deadlocked group. This person in chosen by the winner of an emergency immunity challenge involving all of the tied d players. The chosen player and the loser of the rock draw face off in a fire challenge. All other players become immune for that council, by default of need. If all abstains are granted immunity, a second vote occurs between the members of the other Tribes under the rules for Final Tribal Council. Usual tiebreakers resume from there. *Theory C* The not immune players who abstained; were as such, simply vulnerable to bring voted against. Since a 1-1-1-1 tie could be considered a hack through public knowledge, it would be a simple rock draw between the abstaining who were not immune. *Plan D* As to avoid collusion, but balance the need for "earning immunity"; those not immune play for immunity in a challenge where they must beat a standard set by the house. This could be solving a puzzle in a certain time, or lasting a certain time in an endurance challenge. Succeed, immune. Fail, still vulnerable. *Plan E* A tiebreaker challenge between the not immune abstaining - as technically such a challenge could be considered a unanimous decision to avoid the possibility of a Deadlock between two predetermined targets- even if such targets; or the colluding involved was unintentional. You would not have all six do a tiebreaker. Not all six were tied. *Plan F* Make the two abstains immune by default (unlikely, but still applicable). The other Tribes vote *Plan G* For purposes of placement, the abstains are not immune, as they could finish lower if they were ejected. The four tied take part in a challenge. The winner chooses one of the other three to be eliminated. *Plan H* Plan G, but the person selected gets to choose a not immune abstain to enter into a revote between the other Tribes. All other Tribes become immune. A fire challenge is unlikely, as this could cause an unintentional voluntarily reward. Here it is at least a result of a fair game procedure. *Plan I* The members of the other Tribes vote as to whether vote between those who are tied, and those who abstained who are not immune. The other Tribes then if necessary cast their vote. The abstains would remain not immune. They would either be the voting target, or eligible for the rock draw. Unlike a 3-3-3-3 into a 3-3-1-1; the entire Tribe has lost it's eligibility to revote. *Plan J* The other Tribes revote between the tied, but each vote is immediately cast in secret. The two players who abstained remain not immune for purposes of a rock draw. *Plan K* The most recent season winner not competing in the current season shall break the tie. *Plan L* Exclude Extra Votes & Stolen Votes *Plan M* Postpone voting sentences and immunities that come with them. *Plan N* The tied members have to discuss and decide on one of the not tied targets.

Yup, their mistake was to lift and wedge from the middle. If they all squat down and lift only 1 block from the bottom big blocks and have Scott "hold" the top part, it might go better. It's much more stable when you can lift in a position that requires you to move your body so little upwards and the person wedging the block don't have to tip toe or lean against the bottom blocks to get leverage like Peter was trying to do. They start to lose balance on the top blocks because everyone was tiptoeing trying to reach the ever growing middle blocks.

Looking at the Kaoh-Rong footage I feel like the problem was less the so called anti-hack and more the fact that they weren't willing to have one player (more specifically Scott) lift another to balance the top of the stack.

So is it an anti-hack or the players TRYING to hack a challenge and it just utterly failed to work?
