What is Ideal Base color before Tarnish 50 application, For a Custom Sculpted or Sacrafisial part? Flat Black, Silver, 70% Dark Grey, White, etc?

Normally there is no need to choose a base color. Never the less, when using systems with texture tracking a contrast to the base color can help. So dark colors with a thin coating enhance texture tracking.
