Dom has been so enjoyable to watch when I've been feeling so low these past few months. And the way he presents information couldn't be more clear cut and simple. Picked up so many cool tips that Cubase has turned into my own personal playground. His energy and positivity is absolutely infectious. He's the best

I want a Dom action figure, I can stand him on my desk next to Princess Leia. When I'm in a Mac induced fit of rage/crying into my hands, I can switch on the fully e-licensed Dom doll and he will emit vibes of positivity, enthusiasm and wisdom.

Hello. I have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out what makes a bass mix so well with some of my favorite music. So I have decided to research that for bit. I came across this video and I'm not even halfway through and after applying only some of the changes that you've suggested, I'm already noticing a major difference in not only the sound of my fat 5 string active bass, but also in the overall mix of my project. This is truly amazing and I just wanted to thank you.

I am singer - tenor and I come from Greece and I live in the beautiful town of historical Nafplion. I am also songwriter, composer and producer. Cubase 12 Pro gaves me new ways and oportunities to make true all my plans and why not my dreams. It's so usefull, easy, maybe the most powerful as a DAW in the market, a real smart weapen to enyones hands who has talent in music. I would like to thank you all the steinberg and Cubase team from the bottom of my heart. I would like specialy to thank the great engeneer and musician mr Dom Sigalas. His tuttorials are so simple to understand eneyone even if he is doing his firts steps in mastering. Best Regards Dino Kalyvas

Sometimes u have to drop ur engineer cap and put on ur producer cap, at the end of the day the listeners don’t really give a hoot about all of these, once you’ve done what satisfies ur ear, u move on

Dom! This was awesome! I spent hours zooming right in looking for the zero spot so I had no clicks and pops! My jaw literally fell open when you explained the "snap to zero" function. The horror lol!! Hours spent because I didn't know this lol. AND... This was a great explanation and demonstration of the variaudio capacities in Cubase. This one video changes so much for me! Thank you so much! 🤘✌

Dom, at the end of the video you showed very important thing with extracting midi notes from the bass. I want to do same with distorted guitar (to thicken it up with piano on some notes). The problem is when I do exactly the same thing with extracting midi from distorted guitar it always gives unusable midi notes which are all over the place. Can you please please make a video how to extract midi notes from heavy distorted guitar track? Thank you soooo much Dom.
@LucasMichalski3 жыл бұрын
@Fabian G. (Fabieh) That's actually great idea, never thought about that. Must try it. Thank you. It makes more sense than doing it on fully distorted track.

if the guitar is played with more then one note at a time(intervals chords etc...) vari-audio will not detect it correctly . Vari-audio can detect only monophonic audio sources
