Omg, as soon as I clicked on this video I felt overwhelmingly happy. I’ll explain: So recently I’ve seriously considered becoming a model. I immediately started obsessing over Victoria’s Secret models and how to become one. This was a dangerous habit because as a black girl who isn’t that skinny, I’m worlds apart from most of those girls in a lot of aspects. I was even considering getting a nose job because of my ‘ethnic’ nose. They are the top of the top in the industry and trying to imitate them was only damaging for myself, since I’m a total beginner. This reminded me I have to start from somewhere, and that I should be unique and not try and look like any other model, just be me.

Ofc it’s preferred for a tall model but you never know the look they are looking for and if they only want face photos so it’s based on agencies .

5'8+ is necessary for fashion, however you can still do commercial (commercial has the highest entry pay anyways) and other areas, such as fitness or catalog (depending on your look)

This is so inspiring, thank you for posting it! I recently applied for some very famous internet open casting in which I was asked to send about five pictures of my looks, on top of other requests. I did all of it, but didn't get called so got rejected. I'm taking this modeling dream pretty seriously as it's something that I've always gotten told to do and would help a lot my confidence. The problem with lowkey acne doesn't help of course but one can have hope, it's just that it's pretty stressful. Thank you for making this channel up

I don’t even know how to explain this but every single day at work my coworkers and passengers ask me if I’m a model. I’m not but lately I’ve been thinking about it. One of my coworkers is a model and he advised me to go to his agency and stuff but the thing is... I’m 1,73 cm (5’8’ I guess) and my current weight is 61/62kg. I’m so scared to even try because I have some stretch marks and my feet are damn ugly because of the shoes I have to use at work (airport life!). I’m a black woman and my hair is really short, I shaved my head last year. What should I do? I know it’s gonna be a no for me. Btw why do people hate stretch marks so much? Tbh I really appreciate them, it’s part of my body change during puberty. Have a good day y’all 💛
