"Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day!"💞😘💞😘💞😘💞😘

Hi, Emma! I’ve just started listening audible while reading “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” (yes! One of your recommendations!) since yesterday. I’m glad to tell you that it’s a whole new experience and I’m enjoying it! Thanks, Emma! Your last tip of today’s lesson is new to me, so I’ll try it on the weekend. Answering your question… to be honest, it is sometimes difficult for me to understand when I listen to children’s talk. I’m not sure why. Maybe the vowels are not clear? Well, in my real life, I don’t have any opportunity to talk to children in person, so I’m not in trouble, but I think this is the area I can improve (but of course I won’t imitate them! Now I only imitate your accent to make strong basics) Thank you for inspiring me as always. Stay safe and have a lovely week❤️

Hi Emma! I use your lessons when I study and practice my English, especially my pronunciation. They help me a lot! I tried to listen to Ted Talks. Some of them are really difficult to understand because of so many new words and expressions, linking, reduced forms. But I don't give up and continue listening to different audio on KZbin. As you said, it's definitely is going to be something that pays off in the long term.

Thank you for the five listening skill improving tips. What I found effective, and I practice it for some time, is to write what you hear technique. To do this my aid is the "One-minute World News" on the BBC News homepage. There one can listen to three or four short recent news in one minute, each is two or three sentences. I choose one of the news, listen to it, rewind and listen to it again, reduce the speed if needed, and write down what I've understood. If there were words I couldn't get, I try to deduce them from the context. There is no subtitle option. I recommend it to everyone!
