Showered, shaved and on location snapping photos at 5AM. That is as impressive as the fantastic shots you got there in Seattle. Your ability to hand hold some of the slower shutter speed shots continues to baffle me. I think you have steel rods for arms. Great tips, Jim.

Yeah that was an early morning for sure, but that's why they invented caffeine. Thanks and glad you liked the shots. Not sure how I get way with handholding some of those but it seems to work, at least some of the time! thanks for watching!

Enjoy your tutorials a lot. Always good information. The only thing I have trouble with is when you shoot a video while you are walking around I get motion sickness !!!. I have to close my eyes and just listen. Thanks

Thanks Bill and yes, I need a gimbal but it's a dilemma for me. It would help, but it is big and heavy and I prefer to travel light. So maybe I stay in place when I'm talking, that might be the answer. Thanks for the feedback, and for watching as well.

Great video! And welcome to my town :) The next-video window covered your text about which camera you used, suggests it was a Pana MFT body, but wondering about the focal lengths listed, if they're unconverted MFT numbers and not 35mm equivalent.

Hi David and thanks, and I love Seattle, such a great city. I just removed those end screen things, sorry. You can go see it clearly now. But yes it was with my little P&S Pana Lumix L100 and those are unconverted MFT numbers.

Good advice and great shots Jim. Do we need to take permission from the shop's staff before photographing the inside e.g. inside Starbucks?
@JimNix5 жыл бұрын
Thanks much Behram and I am not sure if permission is required, but yes I definitely asked them if they minded me taking some photos there. They said it was fine, so I fired away. :-) Thanks!

Thanks for the video... How did you get these slow shots without a tripod? 1/4 of sec. and still sharp?? Did you use Topaz Sharpen AI? :-)

Hi Robert and I have arms like the Terminator, that's how. :-) J/K I guess I don't know for sure, just trying to be really steady, elbows into my sides, that sort of thing. I only used Lightroom on these edits, nothing else. Thanks!
