any tips on mastering the e string? started with viola but slowly seem to also enjoy violin, are there any special exercises that you can recommend?

Hi Ramona, thanks for watching! I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “mastering the E string” but I highly recommend you peek into Simon Fischer’s book called ‘Tone’, which features a plethora of exercises that will help you develop bow control and sound production on all four strings. Great videos....but....anyway to do them in a closed setting? Between high winds, car noises etc. It's distracting and sometimes hard to listen. Background is great...but the information is better.
