In minute 7:38, is that where you connect the power to the system? I having issues with consent power even when the car is turned off. Gone through two batteries. Need help! I have a 2015 MK6

What dapping adjustment you have it in ? And what psi pressure

Damping adjustment is set to 50/50 stiff/soft. From what I remember the Pressures are roughly 45-55psi depending on client’s desired ride height but I’m sure he’s adjusted them to his taste since then

Hey guys! I have a quick question. I am installing airlift on my mk6 GTI and the sway bar end links airlift provided are much shorter than the factory ones. They are so short that they cannot reach the bottom hole when trying to put them in. Do you know what I have to do in order for me to be able to bolt on these shorter sway bar end links?

Hi Ian, the new links provided are intended to be shorter. In this case and others, using the oem length links would put an undesired amount of preload into the sway bar, and it also serves to assist in having the sway bar keep clear of contact with other components. You’ll unfortunately have to use a bit of force to load the swaybar enough to align the end links while it’s in the air.

@@performanceautocentregta7727 Thanks for the reply! My other issue is that my driver side hub assembly is sitting super high in the air compared to the other side which still has the coilover on. It sits so high that a wheel cannot even be mounted. The only way I’ve been able to connect the sway bar was to unscrew the strut(just like yours in the video) about 5x as much as you did in the video. This lowers the hub assembly enough to get the sway bar end link in but is not the correct way and safe way to do it(because the strut is almost coming out of the strut holder)

theres an even cleaner way to do the mounting plate for the tank and compressor. use strips of cardboard and hot glue to make a template and use a sheet of polished aluminum you can cut it out with a handheld wood router with a carbide tooth bit

No frame notching?

The owner requested to not have the frame notched at this time. When it airs out , the frame does rest on the c/v axle and the passenger side sits slightly higher up.
