My dream car, a awd jetta. I've been begging vw to make them all wheel drive. Hopefully soon.

As long as Audi exists I don’t think we will be getting an Awd Jetta here in America

This is cool "IF" he did not spend more than a Golf R to build it; I'd also like to know if he had the mechanical lsd when he installed the big turbo and had such wheel spin issues, I'm not arguing that point but would like to know...I've been considering a GLI and it could save me over building.
@berube3612 жыл бұрын
Of course he spent way more on this that what a golf r would cost lol.
@DevineDigital2 жыл бұрын
@@berube361 lol you are wrong, I spent about 15k less than a Golf R.

I did splurge on a Wavetrac LSD as well when building the car, it’s an absolute beast to drive and on rails.

Swap a 6.5 front clip n that thing and it’ll be perfect! Awesome job making what vw should have did years ago for the jetta
@DevineDigital2 жыл бұрын
I’ve thought about it, but id probably splice the upper 6 with the lower 6.5. May still do that in the future. The car is far from done overall.

I wonder how different the Mk7 era GLI would be. built on the MQB chassis I wonder if it'd be easier to harder to do.

If you can get past component protection, most A3 parts would be a direct fit.
