Daniel Smith black is very granulating and creates cool effects when added to other colors! Love the bunny so much! Going to try some sketches with this technique!

I use 140 lb for preliminary paintings, but my final I use 300 I have done the opposite lol doing a black kitten, using black into wet and creating the most adorable fluffy kitty!!

I have yet to try the Daniel Smith Lamp Black or any black for painting. I am just amazed by the amount of spreading fine textures that it gives for a fur effect. Thanks for sharing theses tips with us and I’m enjoying & looking forward to giving it a try soon.

I believe I used gouache - usually I use masking but if I don't I'll use gouache or white gel pen. Thanks for the question! Let me know what video topics you're interested in too : )

Since they are white they don't really show up. But I get what you're saying.
