I just got an Iphone 15 pro max and learning as much as I can before my trip in one day! Gotta try some transitions and hopefully can take home some clips that I can piece together for a nice travel video. It'll be my first time trying to video edit. Awesome channel! Thanks a lot. I recommend shooting in the highest resolution which is 4K that not only results in a sharper looking image bur you also have the flexibility to crop or reframe your shot without losing much quality. Unless you need to save storage space 4K is the ay to go. As for the frame rate if you don‘t plan on slowing down your footage 24fps is the cinematic frame rate. Of you want to create slow motion video shoot in 60fps. This will also make shakes less noticeable when filming handheld.

Thanks a lot! Since the colors on the iPhone are already vivid ai actually prefer the SDR look, I find it a bit more cinematic 👍🏻 When I create my travel videos I don’t care to much about the 180 degree shutter rule, I only add motion blur in the edit for my hyperlapse videos

I film with an iPhone ( iPhone X and iPhone 11pro ) But I have a problem, I always found troubles when it’s time to transfer my video from my iPhone to the pc. The error copy message always says “a device attached to the system is not functioned” I’d like to know how do you do and found possible an issues please. Could you make a video ? I do use one, but when mounting the phone on a gimbal i remove it. The case adds more weight and usually doesn’t fit with the phone clamp.

What do you recommend when you don’t have more space in your phone? I am planning a trip put I only have 125 on my iPhone and I have iCloud for 2.99 a month what do you recommend that I do, thanks

The best thing you can do is backup all your media either to iCloud (if you don’t have enough storage upgrade if needed) and delete the rest on your phone. Or you can off load the media you recorded on to an external hard drive (or mac computer) after every shoot. Also delete apps that you don’t use to try free up more space.
