​@@sanyalenan6413 lolol 'slip' is when a product glides through your hair without any resistance. Which means your hair strands are responding well to said product. The product can consist of water/butter/cream whichever one you know your hair responds to positively. I hope this helped or makes sense😅😊💛

Tip # 1 is how people with locs retain maximum hair growth. We leave our hair alone. My hair is down my back surpassing bra strap length. I have been loced just years. I could never if still a loose natural.

Everybody says detangle with your fingers but I find that not only do I create more nots and also accidentally rip through my hair, I also still have tangled up hair :), so combs are my friends, I don’t care anymore.

Using water helps to finger detangle🌝

I use a water bottle and put a few drops of conditioner in it. I start by finger detangling then run the comb through afterwards. This has helped me greatly.

Start detangling at the ends of your hair and do not pull big chunks of hair apart cuz that can cause single strand knots. Take your time during this process. You cannot Rush through the detangling process or you end up ripping your hair out. You've got to feel your way through your hair as if you were blind to find knots & tangles. Doing these things will avoid a lot of breakage.

You still have to properly detangle your hair to remove the dead hair and be able to trim it properly. Trust me.....your hair will still be long.
