yeah when the glass is on they are basically silent but if you listen when the glass if off you can hear them repel

To add on the 10th tip, even if the attackers shoot the cams, you can still vaguely guess their location based on which cams are destroyed and which cams aren't based on your map knowledge. It won't give their exact location, but it will help you guess the general area the attackers are so you can either go for a flank, avoid that area, or relocate your defenses. Of course, you need to have an understanding of the map layouts and common routes the attackers take for this
