My coaches want me and my whole team to hit the ball on the beginning of the bat. Is that a good way to hit homeruns? I honestly dont think so. They also want us to move our hips and then bring our bat around. Is that also right? Cuz my dad said its not and if you do do that then you arent even using your hips. plzzz respond.

You want to keep your elbow down to create more power, if your elbow is up its more common to roll over and hit weak groundballs, skip to 2:50 to see what im talking about, you want to be connected with your body to create more power, at first it will feel weird but it will help extremely!
