Traded hill straight up for olave. I just won the championship but wanted to get younger so I moved diggs and hill for Wilson and olave in separate deals

That is a good move Olave might take longer to get going with the coaching issues. Wilson is definitely going to be a top tier WR going forward. The very first game he played in the NFL you could tell he was special.

Ik im here late but I traded out of pick 3 for picks 10 and then traded for pick 11 and had back to back picks o chose Chase and Lamb then got Deshaun Watson on the flip. I sold a Lamb for Jeudy, Burks, and Roschon Johnson Lamb was a cornerstone but I believe in Jeudy with Peyton. Burks has potential but I’m not sold but RoJo was the guy that really made me say yea I’ll take This deal I believe he will be an everydown back and he has fresh legs. Opinion ?

I’ll be perfectly honest, i want Lamb in this deal. I think you left a lot of value on the table and you assumed all of the risk. We love Jeudy here too, but maybe he doesn’t put it all together, same with Burks, and Roschon could be Dameon Pierce or he could be AJ Dillon or he could be Chuba Hubbard. But I do hope it works out because we do love all three players haha

I realized I needed to rebuild in a 1 QB league, start 9, when I was 0-5 in '21. Before the '21 season I traded Kareem Hunt for juju and '21 2.2(Rashod Bateman). In season, I traded Mixon for '22(#3) and '23(#11) 1st... CMC for '22(#6), '23(#6), and '24 1st... Robert Woods(2 days before his injury was announced) for DeVonta Smith... Adrian Peterson, the day after getting him off waivers, for a 3rd... D'ernest Johnson for a 4th... Devontae Booker for a '23 2nd(2.4)... Before the '22 season I traded '22 1.3(from Mixon) and juju for Pitts and a couple '22 4th... Bateman and '22 1.2 for 2 '23 1st(#8, #12) and 2.8... then traded '22 1.6, the 2 4th from Pitts trade, and '23 3rd to get back my 1.3(London)... Julio Jones, Kenny Golladay for Irv Smith, Calvin Ridley, and Moss... AJ Green, Irv Smith, '22 5th, '23 2nd for James Proche, Noah Brown, and '24 1st... In season, D'Onta Foreman, '24 4th, '23 2nd for '24 1st... Turned a winless failed contender in mid '21 into a team with... Burrow, Etienne, Chase, London, DeVonta, Ridley, Pitts, '23 1.1, 1.6, 1.8, 1.11, 1.12, 2.8, and 4 '24 1st... I've already talked to the 1.2 owner about possibly trading for his pick. Know your league mates, stay active, and spam trade offers... also, having Ja'Marr Chase fall to you at #6 in the rookie draft doesn't hurt...

No, I don’t consider him to be. Building blocks are established pieces with known production or value that won’t (shouldn’t?) fall off in the next 3-4 years. DJM doesn’t fit that mold.

Hello! Please help, my dynasty QB I have Hurts and G Smith. WR I have Garrett Wilson, Jeudy, Olave, Diontae Johnson, Dotson, Renfrow, DPJ & Lazard. I suck at RB with Gibson, Herbert, J Cook & K Ingram. TE I have Goedert & Schulz. I have 23 1.05 2.07 2.10 & 3.04. Only have 3 24 3rds. 10 team 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex dynasty league. How do I rebuild to get more ascending RBs or do I stick with the draft?

I love this team, this is exactly where I want to be at this point in the off-season with almost no RBs, but the ones you have have upside. I would not be making any significant moves for RBs until after the NFL draft. 1.05 could be a really good rookie, Justin and I really like Sean Tucker there, but it could be someone different after the Draft. Even your other three picks could also be RBs. Then once you get through the summer and honestly you could wait through preseason and then buy RBs right before Week 1. That helps you see as much of the landscape of RB as possible and who got hurt by free agency or the draft, did a big name get injured in training camp like Dobbins/Akers did two years ago. At almost the last possible moment is when I want to be reading for bigger name RBs because anything can happen and roughly 85% of the RBs in the league right now aren’t safe.

Cause I was nervous about the suspension. But I will just wait then and see what value I get from the picks. I had an offer for D Swift who I’ve been a fan of for years. but have to give my 23 1st and 2x 2nds to get him and felt like it was an over pay so declined. But nearly pulled the trigger lol!

Your issue is that it’s a start 8 so only hammers matter. You need to try to put two pieces together for one elite piece or you’ve got to hit your draft picks. Your late round picks have way lower value in this format so try to take advantage of that!

The point of the RB position in dynasty is always about depth, which is why those late round picks are still important. You want as many RBs as possible with opportunities to see significant playing time and volume at any point throughout the season. Even if it’s just a handcuff that you start for a week, if he gets you 14 PPR points in just one week, you’re extremely happy with him on your roster. Not to mention the upside of what if that RB turns into more down the road. Rhamondre Stevenson was a 3rd. Tyler Allgeier was a 3rd. Elijah Mitchell was a 4th. Those players can happen and they happen more at RB than WR. Yes it’s important to have hammers at the top, but don’t overlook depth.

@@DynastyLeagueFootball I’ve played this format for 5+ years. It’s really tough to win without elite QBs and elite RBs. There are only 80 starting players each week, so all the elite teams usually have 3 top 15 RBs minimum (a few teams are always rebuilding). True elite RBs give you that positional advantage in this format more so than WRs. Same with QBs (so hurts is great). Teams with allgeier and Mitchell (even in their prime) aren’t good enough to compete so you’d want to package and try to get an elite option. Even with Stevenson I would be looking to pair him with late picks and seconds to get a more elite asset.

At what point do you take a team that's still competitive and decide to blow it up? I won the title back in 2020 in my main league and my team has remained the highest scoring team the previous two seasons but I came up short both years, once in the Finals, once in the Semis. I'd like to switch things up and make some moves, but I also really want to win a second title before I decide to gut my roster.

I think it depends on what your team looks like and the longevity. You don’t have to completely blow up your roster if you’re competitive still, but there are moves you can make to reload.

Assuming starting a rebuild, you could look at young WRs like Waddle, Wilson, Higgins, Olave, ARSB. If you’re just looking for a different RB, I would imagine it’s not hard to go from CMC to Hall, Walker, or Etienne, possibly getting something on top of all three.

Tyreek can be the same thing as CMC, just get younger with those same players. Someone else just said they were able to swap Tyreek for Wilson or Olave, so I would do that. Move CMC for another young WR. Take Kyler or Watson and the 1.08 and try to move up into the top-3 if you can for JSN/Addison. Move Godwin for like Hollywood + 2nd.

I drafted Watson, Fields, Chase, Diggs, Waddle, Swift, Breece, Dobbins, Brian Robinson, Singletary. Ended up trading Chase and Singletary for what ended up as the 23 1.03, a 24 1st, a 24 2nd, and Jeudy. Sold Dobbins super early in the season for what ended up as the 1.05. Sold Diggs and a 23 3rd for a 23 1st, a 24 1st, and a 23 2nd. I also shipped Breece and Swift for what ended up as the 1.02, a 24 1st and a 24 2nd right after Breece went down and Swift had been out for several games. In the end through a ton more trades and acquiring some other players I ended up with the 23 1.02-1.05, the 23 2.01, 4 24 1sts, 4 24 2nds, Garret Wilson, Chris Olave, Drake London, Calvin Ridley and I still kept Waddle. I just pulled a trade over this weekend where I gave up Russ, the 23 1.03, and the 23 1.04 for Herbert and the 2.05 so I still have 1.02, 1.05, 2.01, and the 2.05 while locking in a top 5 QB.

@@dynastydrizzy Superflex and everyone was drafting QB's super early. I waited till like the 7th round to draft my 1st QB in Fields. But yes I drafted that team. Some guys were drafting 2 QB's in their first 4 picks.

@@DynastyLeagueFootball Fair enough, I think Jeudy, 2 1sts(especially when one ended up being a high 1st) and a 2nd was pretty good value. Maybe could have gotten more but have to go with what the market dictates. At that point I didn't feel I could compete in the season and I didn't want to be stuck as a middle of the road team. I decided pretty early to go all in on acquiring as much draft capital as possible and build my team through other young but cheap WR's. Trading Chase enabled a lot of the other moves I made to acquire those young WR's and draft capital.
