I like the idea of coloring with splatters. It's different, and it's fun. If instead of tapping your finger on the brush, you tap the brush on your finger or another brush, pencil, or pen, it will be easier to produce splatters. Love your videos and the way you laugh😘.

I have an equally large layering stencil from Altenew and I'm definitely going to try watercolors on it. I didn't think I would like the splattered one but it looks equally as beautiful as the solid!

Thank you for showing both techniques. I just need to point out one thing - you said watercolor paper is coated on one side. Altenew brand watercolor paper may be coated, but I believe that's an exception to most watercolor papers. As a watercolorist I have a large collection of watercolor papers, various brands and finishes. None are coated. Just me being picky, but some viewers might think that whatever watercolor paper they have on hand will have a coated side and be frustrated because they can't tell which side to use. With quality watercolor paper there is no "right" side so whichever side they use will be fine. There may be a few exceptions to this, but I haven't found one yet. Thanks for continuing to offer tips and tricks.

Love the splattered design, but both cards are beautiful. Do you think Pixie spray would make a difference holding the stencils in place, especially with watercolors?
