Got the 2 toolsets for farming part 1 and immediately thought "well fuck I may as well save these for upgrades and do the barter for non-FiR toolsets for the quest.... this no flea and needing FiR for hideout upgrades has really started bringing back the old tarkov feeling and I love it

@@SneezeJunky it’s been like that because movement is death not because people are trying to progress it’s a different issue that results in the same thing. You are taking a problem that desperately needs to be fixed and making it even more of a problem. Early tarkov was not scared lobbies people used to run towards gunshots now everyone runs away from them. It’s not bringing the game back to old tarkov it’s reinforcing the get in rat your way through the map to get your quest or item or whatever then rat your way out. I’m holding W around the lobby because I desperately want to get into gun fights and I get 1 kill a match, 2 if I run into a duo. People actively avoid fights old tarkov was never like that, old tarkov the entire lobby would rush dorms on custom and fight over it.

If you kill enough PMCs you'll never have to buy armor. Most people with a K/D around 7 will probably never have to buy armor, if they use the insurance system.

In my experience most people are camping bushes / buildings. If you move, you die. If you don't move, you won't progress. So no, you will definitely need to buy armor, because you will lose your good ones in a few raids, since people will be looting them from your dead body, while you try to do quests.

The more you play Tarkov, the more you will realise that the people who camp are most of the time bad in PVP. That's why they camp. If you play confident, move fast and use the peekers advantage you'll win the fights against them way more than 50% of the time. Then you'll loot their armor and hide yours in a good spot. Also don't forget to use your scav often and search for lv4 armors. :)

Massive pro tip: If you're willing to risk all of the issues with Arena and Trader rep resets then Ref 2 is actually really great for gunsmith and level 4 armours. The SKS he sells you can immediately turn in for gunsmith part 4

If you die you loose FIR and the item can't be used for hideout upgrades This is the first whipe like this so we will see how it works Also if you do find an item and put in your secure container and die , that item can still be sold on the flea market

Quick tip. Check fence for barter items. Diaries. Ssds for scopes etc etc. A bit expensive but imo money is never the issue. Well worth it. People sell a lot to him. Been getting thr elcan barter from buying ssd from him

I don't know what it is with gas analyzers but I'm always tripping over them, and I'm always finding them in cabinets on GZ. By raid 10 I already had 2 in stash, and I died carrying 2 with one in my secure. I don't know if my luck is just massive but I seem to stumble into them easily on GZ.

I had a scav suppress fire through the Christmas market house things and it one tapped me. They seem to be hitting headshots a lot more which is a bit frustrating. I don't really mind the AI being more aggressive but them taking you out in their first shot is not fun especially if you can't see or hear them if they are far away.

Just like rust, but you wouldn't complain about rust being a "full time job" right? People that complain about that just don't realise what the point of the game is. In this wipe, to get kappa as fast... just to get kappa before next wipe I really thinking about "magic" to loot all the things needed and staying alive. Thats clearly NOT good. Armor doesnt matter...if I get good armor like the Osprey, I get ontapped in the head anyways...if I get a decent helmet...they throat me, head-eyes me, or kill me in my stomach...if I get something that covers it all...I get legged or, loose my legs, so that I cant run, cause you can never be popping pills forever, and I have no space in my pouch to bring anything really...running the alpha... this wipe is hard, but not impossible. But armor´, like I said doesnt matter...it just comes down to luck and guardian angels.

Last wipe, money was very easy to come by. By removing FIR last wipe, it pretty much made everything very affordable. But as someone who is a collector and likes a challenge, imagine if base set 1st edition charizard was printed to oblivion, everyone would have one and wouldn’t be an incentive to collect. Same with FIR. Sure it’s cool to buy rare armor for cheap, but for the people who had to grind their levels and do the missions it ruins the experience. Want it easy. If anything they can get rid of the flea market all together and force people to grind as the game and play the game by going into raids more.

Any game with pvp or survival elements have wipes. They’re necessary. Dayz, rust, palworld, etc. With no wipes, it would get very toxic, get gated out and lose players.
