Totally agree with all that. I have a lot of experience in online poker and the skillset is almost identical. Discipline to employ a mechanical system but as you get more experienced you can let a little intuition loose.

I tried day trading almost 2 years ago, and blew up few thousand euros in matter of days because I went in without having any clue how it works, and driven by the rush. I am pondering on the idea non stop ever since and started investing in stocks and funds meanwhile playing it safe with small long term return, but realised I am not interested in that, cause I just can't see myself working full time job forever.
