I have some IVR that's down about 20% or so, but it would be down more, if I hadn't kept buying. Is it in trouble? I know you like O more, & I was wondering if you could compare IVR, vs. O. I bought IVR, thinking it would be safer, but O is doing much better. When I break even with IVR, if you had that 💰, would you put it into O?

I'm tempted to put some money into REIT's right now, both for portfolio diversification and income generation, but I'm concerned about the possibility of persistent elevated interest rates. The current administration seems likely to pursue inflationary policies, but an even larger issue may be global demographic trends, as more and more people age out of the workforce, and replacement by young workers fails to keep up. In that scenario, with capital becoming more scarce than it has been in recent decades, elevated interest rates could become the new normal.
