The men you see in therapy though are a very miniscule percentage of men, those who are ready and okay to go to therapy and be completely vulnerable like that, but most men are not like those you see in your office. So, although I appreciate this video and the information here, it's not really useful information as this is not how men in general operate. Men in general are very different from what you are describing.

Hi quick question: I got sick many years ago from a medical botox shot. I met a woman in a forum who had similar issues. This often means loss of jobs , friends, and being homebound for years. She is married but we never talk romantically and she never talks about her husband negatively ever. We have been talking for 8 months. We talk mostly about getting better from our illnesses and have developed a friendship. It's a mutual support system I suppose. She tells me about her struggles and I tell her mine; the vast majority of this is talk of illness. She tells me when she's scared to travel and needs or if she plans to try a new medication. We have talked almost daily for 8 months but sometimes only a text to ask how each other are doing? Would this be considered an emotional affair?
