Try more disease resistant roses if you are having a lot of disease. The AARS roses of the last 20 years have shown to be more disease resistant that older roses.

Hybrid Teas are incredibly susceptible to pest and disease I guess, the old school roses have been around for long enough to withstand a lot. I’ve been killing it with hybrid teas since I was 17. They’re picky and delicate, the healthier they are the more bugs love them, the more dawn I spray. Soil, eh I’m not a scientist or biologist, I just dig a hole, clean up the area and plop one in. Biggest lesson I was taught growing up, when you cut them, seal the stem with Elmer’s glue, it prevents bad things from seeping down the stem to the root ball. I’ve still lost a couple over the years, last one was from a classic wild climber chocking it out 😢 hybrid tea vs that was no contest. It’s a constant battle but it’s rewarding when it goes right
