What are some of your favorite INFJ strengths?
@robin15092

I sure would say detaching from reality. Being able to partly live in a alternatively constructed reality can feel pretty damn nice when you need it. But being an INFJ with autism, I think I might be entering this realm a bit too often, which can be a barrier for connection in real time. Also, beacause of my autism, strength 1 is actually not applicable to me. Sometimes misinterpreting body language is the reason for this. Can be a bit frustrating at times.

My strength is the ultimate power. Similar to a movie called Matrix… I can watch and read and listen to others with experience on a difficult skill like driving or target shooting, then imagine myself having that experience and I use the knowledge from others to create results in days that take others years. It’s not fake it till you make it it’s actually making it from experience of others

Resilience. When people think you're broken, you suddenly wake up and take em by surprise. Spotting agenda and flaws. The look on faces when you point them out. I love that feeling. Knowing exactly how it's going to pan out. Even when you tell them, they act surprised when it happens, but the strength in that is, we're not the type to say "I told you so". Feeling other people's pain. But knowing it's theirs. It's not ours to take to bed. Awareness. Noticing the neglected. Emotional intelligence. Knowing the difference between sympathy and empathy.

I want to start out by letting you know how your coaching for INFJ's has changed my life. My ISFP wife when she sees I am struggling will say, "You need to watch a Wenzes video" lol! My favorite strength (which I have learned so much about Here as well) is Intuition. I have had it all my life but only in the last couple of years have come to trust it like a fine tuned machine. Thank you Wenzes for all you do!!

Reading people. I choose who I want to help anymore. You know people need to learn and change bad habits on their own. I don’t feel compelled to jump in and fix stuff. I ask women do you want an answer or do you want me to listen? So great to say No now. Not being mean. Detaching from reality is such a relief especially in a crowded room. I don’t give a rip what other people think anymore. I’ll listen to them if I think their wrong then their wrong. Hahaha so relieving.

This comment is for both: Wenzes and INFJ viewers. There is something more, above our personality. (I am an INFJ too) You associated intuition with recognizing patterns, trends, but it is not the same thing. We are always falling short when it comes to our visions/ideals. There is a way that brings us better results than we can imagine (and you know how good we are at imagining). I promise you. Take it as a contribution and not at all as criticism. I have been observing my life for years and I can guarantee that there is more. I asked in a separate comment about private video call. I am willing to offer you my knowledge and I would gladly pay for the session simply to support your wonderful work. Thank you

This is soooooooo very true!! 13:52 since I neglected myself for others for decennials - this is how I was trained by my parents - then I decided to make a 180 degree shift many moons ago for the remaining decennials I have to live on this planet and the heck with whatever else for the simple reason that most people don't deserve anything from me. The Masters have taught us: power is like a wind sometimes blowing this way sometimes another direction, do not fall for the shadow on the wall of the cave. To have emotional control in affairs and attacks that are beyond sanity and at continuous bases you must develop psychopath traits and i am not going to implement it since we can work without and are taking your advice to stand my own ground to meet the prior requirements necessary to do any labour at all. Thank you Wenzes it is correct. I will tighten my setting boundaries. And it is nonnegotiable and we can apply the golden rule and ask any of them; would you let yourself be treated like this when you put in so much genuine sincere integrity worthy efforts in? No you would not and if you would then i can say; yes i accepted it too but i was taught it is no manner of being treated. Hermit mode on. Have a nice day.

How do you not feel guilty when you know what somebody's going to do and you don't help them? I find it so frustrating when I see the same patterns over and over and over and they don't change it.. It makes me want to beat my head against the wall.. I know ultimately we are all responsible for who we are and what we do but my friends are like yeah I know that you know but I'm still going to do it this way and I want to tear my hair out
@angelalabauve9131
@angelalabauve9131 10 ай бұрын
It’s helping people who don’t really want to change that is the biggest frustration. We can see the long term solution but it’s not what they want. Sometimes I feel like a gimmick, or entertainment. They just want attention. The problem for us is that we see where they’re heading and want to save them from it. 😢 It’s all very draining for us especially when they cry about the outcome we tried to save them from. So now I know who really will listen and who won’t. I just can’t be available to those who won’t listen. It’s too hard on me, and they don’t care about the toll it takes.

Dont trust anyone. Trust is earned and not merely given. And can not be bought since that will never stand the test of time. True mutual trust is a vital component and without it it would be insanity to proceed. So stand your ground and wait. Safety first. Unless you like it here and the conditions we are in. Attack after attack for giving guidance to those who are not capable to save their ship. What does the dsm area have to say about this behavioural treacherous conduct behavioural styles?

I already told some people: If we continue close, we are going to start a war, so I do preffer to get appart to keep peace... The answer is "nono, all is ok! keep by my side!!" but later I have to force the other to door slam me because to protect myself I just have to rip the liar's mask from his face... But behind the mask there is no face, but another mask!! Anyway, Im not doorlamming, is the other who spill blood!! The worst thing is watching the other's masks ripping appart, but not bleeding at all since is unable to feel any pain over that fake personality! This way is the other who doorslam for me, then I dont spill any wine. Sorry but that way im not feeling guilty, but lot of pain, but I may keep forward in pain! But the liar cannot recover from that, since all lies are weaknesses since nobody may lie forever.

@AnyaAnnika67

We're all pattern recognition machines all of the cognitive functions are predicated on it. With regards the actual cognitive INFJ NiTi pertains to conceptual cerebral pattern recognition not as Wenzes describes pertaining to people; INFJs are logically, and yes from Carl Jung himself, not emotionally predictive. Intuition is not how Wenzes would describe it as gut instinct that's in fact her NiFi divergent ESFP pairing speaking...Ni is simply the macroscopic perception of internally perceived reality. In order to ascertain your true cognitive type & move beyond a pop psychology understanding I'd highly recommend checking out Jung's original work & Cognitive Personality Theory. Wenzes is espousing pseudoscience as per usual. ESFPs can have a well integrated Ni contingent upon the fluidity of their axis & extensive cognitive development. Wenzes Se-Te is very evident in her level of attunement to the actual context & being highly attuned to her target audience.
@AnyaAnnika67
@AnyaAnnika67 Жыл бұрын
Ps the last comment was not a response to you & I applaud your Fi authority for your singularity of a response it's refreshing to see someone actually critically engaging with the content for a change. The reason most people on here relate to the content is because Wenzes describes ubiquitous behaviours that are applicable to 1 in 5 people and people of a similar ESFP cognition (of course there's a lot of intratype variation). The content is certainly NOT predicated on Jungs work however.

Loved how my most damning & NiTi predicated comment got deleted 😂. Duh we're all pattern recognition machines that's the nature of, you know, cognition which yes, we all have. No doubt this was pulled from some novice comment off Quora or Reddit. If ya like 'yes, yes, yes wow Wenzes gets me in a way I never understood' that's unconscious NiTi, congratulations you're an ESFP, no shame in that. When Ni isn't fully integrated the ESFP has a tendency to believing all kinds of pseudoscience & conspiracy theories. Seriously my head hurts it's like bashing my head against a brick wall trying to get through to people that dining refuse to think for themselves or consult trusted academic legitimate sources. Dear Lord most people can read peoples complex motivations it's called, you know, being human no cognitive type has the monopoly on this although I'd push some to shove state that the ESTP has the most natural aptitude given their NiTi divergence/matrix simulations. Noooo the INFJ is not best at applying pattern recognition to emotional states, NiTi remember not NiFi!!! No how you described intuition is gut instinct - that's your ESFP SiTi dip function. Trends to move forward & utilising a skills set - clearly convergent SeTe.

She's a cognitive INFJ. If you want to see a real cognitive INFJ watch Michael Pierce or Harry from CPT - the true NiTi abstract conceptualises; it's not the fact she talks to much but rather her cognition does not align with that of an INFJ given her very novice understanding of typology. Tests are invalid as they're predicated on ubiquitous behavioural stereotypes and suspect descriptions of the cognitive functions. She's way to SeTe present to be an INFJ however; there are certain vultological signs that can be used as an adjunctive...as a typologist I'd say she's an ESFP
