Gods timing is perfect. My boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me and I was fired from my job in the same week. I felt this odd peace in the situation and knew that these things were happening to propel me into the next phase of my life. Within a month I met the love of my life; our relationship is fruitful because it brought us closer to God and now we have a beautiful son❤ That being said, no relationship is a fairytale. We’ve had our hardships.

My wife of 8 years, partner of 14 years total, left me for another man last month. I also just found out my job of 13 years, is closing down going out of business in 3 months. I lost my wife, my family, my career. I feel like this is a midlife crisis. I've been strengthening my relationship with God, and started going to church again. Despite all this happening in my life, I feel a bit of peace in my life as my wife has narcissistic personality disorder, so her abuse is no longer in my home. Pray for me, I hope to one day find a godly woman to live the rest of my life with and have more children while I'm still young.

It is BS that God needs to fix you before He will bless you with a partner. Domestic abusers, adulterers and many other evil people readily find people to partner up with, so why should a good, a godly person be held back, be held down from happiness because they aren't 100% perfect?

@@dhenderson1810 Perfect is not the goal. And just because people get into relationships, doesn't make them healthy connections. It is much better to trust the process and wait for your divine counterpart than to jump into a relationship you weren't meant to be in that will bring a lot of pain, suffering, and lessons. But sadly, this is the route most take because they don't want to wait. And so they learn the hard way. Eventually, after learning the hard way, you may use your free will to doing the healing work and waiting on your equally yoked partner.

I also know of Christian marriages where they aren't close, but married because of family pressure, church expectations, all their friends are doing it, or so that they can sleep together sooner,. You can't say that only Christians have happy and fulfilled marriages. A successful marriage is based on two people who want to make it work, and luck.

I had something similar happen. Had a few bad "relationships " and decided i was tired of going after the same guys who treated me bad. So i made a list and even though i wasn't in the best place with God, i prayed over it and asked him for a man with these qualities. I was already friends with my now husband but wasnt really "attracted" to him as he wasnt my usual type. But i started noticing he had 9/10 of my list items, but then he had more. He had other things i didnt realize i wanted or needed and slowly, i found myself drawn to him and before I knew it, he was my hearts desire. Been married 17 years.

We were in an intensive theater program so we were all together a lot and had many classes together so friends grew quickly there. I would say I probably had the feelings first and looking back, i see how the Holy Spirit was leading me to my husband but I was avoiding him i think because I wasnt "attracted" to him. I was but I wasnt at the same time. After realizing we needed to start dating, my attraction to him exploded, and I felt like i saw him for the first time. But he was an incredibly strong christian so after we had a first kiss, he needed a few dats to pray and seek God about a relationship between us because he wasn't interested in a casual relationship. After 2 days he said he was willing to see where things went. Within 2 months we told each other we loved each other and both knew we would get married. We did not get married for almost 3 years because i ended up having to move home after graduation almost 2 hours away. We took time, were engaged for 2 years and then finally decided to bite the bullet and start planning a wedding. Never a moment of hesitation between either one of us. On our wedding day i was so nervous becausei simply could not wait to be his wife. I grew up in a church going family but never had a relationship with God. When we started dating, his faith drew me closer to the Lord. We found a church together and my life was never the same. Thats another reason i knew he was the one. God used him to draw me back and he still reels me back every time i struggle and flounder. He also tests my insecurities like this man says. I have struggled with anxiety and depression and my husband has a way of cutting to the core of my issues. On the surface it seems harsh but then ypu realize he is right and its time to change or fix something or stop worrying. He makes me so much better. I hope you find the love God has for you. Also, we married young for todays standard. I was 23 and he was 26. Dont regret that at all. If you open up to Gods leading, dont hesitate when he shows the right one yo you. It wont always be roses. We have many arguments but we always come back to Jesus and settle it all.

I was pursuing a woman.. That broke it off with me a few months ago.. I was OK till she contacted me then everything I felt for her came rushing back.. But she doesn't want anything rite now and has issues she wants to work thru.. But the amount of love I have for her is so intense that it's effecting everything.. My concentration.. Find intimacy with Him while He reveals those insecurities such as discontentment, false expectations and the lies you believe about yourself. I suffered from singleness most of my life. After being 55, looking around the couples struggling, I realized being single is a freedom and I enjoy it . I was all my life under pressure for marriage because all people in the church give a big value on it and pretend marriage brings happiness.

You may not mean it this way, but your comment comes off as angry and resentful. Your singleness can be a blessing without making marriage not a blessing or something you’re glad to avoid. God has you on the path that will bring you to Him the fastest. Marriage is a calling, as is single life. Married life is the path God calls most people down on their way to Heaven. He may have called you down a different path, and that’s ok! But don’t feel like just because marriage is a struggle God doesn’t want those people to be in it. No one who understands marriage “pretends” it brings happiness. Value is placed on it because healthy families are the foundation of a healthy society, but consecrated single life is no less important or impactful for building the kingdom of God. Neither marriage nor single life will bring happiness. True joy comes from God alone.

I’m 38 myself, and for the longest time all throughout my 20s I wanted to get married and start a family. Then however, I started to notice more about humanity. Pretty much every human being I saw, whether male or female, Christian or non-Christian, didn’t really know how to treat the opposite sex. Marriage for everyone pretty much became a simple romantic gesture, and little more. Every couple I knew, Christian or non-Christian, was either divorced or well on their way to becoming divorced. I still believe in marriage, it is the only relationship between a man and a woman that God blesses, but I don’t believe that men and women in the west have what it takes to commit themselves in the way that is required for a marriage to be successful. I have strong doubts whether or not I want to get married anymore.

@@Doesch Pretty much an understanding of, and respect of, what marriage actually is. Marriage is essentially the combining of a man and a woman together as 1 cohesive spiritual entity. The two essentially become one. It is a covenant you make with your spouse in the presence of God and other witnesses. A covenant where you both agree to take care of each other, regardless of the circumstances, until one or the other dies. Now in my opinion, for a marriage to be successful, one of the components is that the two have to be “equally yoked”. Equally yoked essentially meaning they share beliefs in common (though the full meaning is a bit more complex). Another component would be a basic understanding of, and respect for, the institution of marriage. It is a promise, a vow, you made to your spouse and to God. If you don’t take it seriously, and it’s just some romantic gesture, then the marriage itself, as well as it’s dissolution, isn’t going to mean anything to either of the parties. I could go into more detail, but what I’ve already told you gives you a good idea of what a marriage is, and what it takes to properly attend to your other half.

The fact that if God wants me to be with specific woman, it means the world to me. I can feel like I can endure and overcome whatever in that case. My problem is that in my mind I often think I'm not good enough and feel unworthy of some women. But I want her so much. I trust in God's timing, mercy and love. I just believe him❤. You know it’s just hard for some people to be single. That’s something that some people need to accept instead of using the hollow words “I’m enjoying the single life” or “I’m focusing on me”. Which isn’t bad, but some people feel joy when they focus on other people and their needs. It may make things easier if we just accepted that fact. This completely resonated and I’m speechless. I have had psychic dreams before fights, I felt like I needed to go to church on Sunday to give thanks to the lord. I didn’t go as I fell asleep. The following day I had one of the worst misunderstandings with my partner and was crying my head off. I checked the livestream of the church service I missed. It was all about gratitude. I need to now go to church to apologise to the lord for not listening for not balancing myself and for giving into fear. I did go but I need to go to a proper Sunday service. Everything’s okay now but I must heal some of this pain. I understand I’m growing spiritually and closer to god so I have made understandable mistakes. But they were avoidable with trusting the Lord. I prayed for a wife 12 years ago. Then an hour later i was at a party and saw a beautiful girl. I noticed she also noticed me. I pursued her and got rejected. 2 weeks later i was going to a local bar/restaurant and was praying to God “God i made a mistake. She’s not the one you have for me. Im sorry for chasing her. Please don’t let me see her ever again “ Then 30 seconds later i go to buy a coke and she’s standing right next to me 😀 looking at me and checking me out. I was over the moon. I thought “God is telling me this is the and not to let her go” Months and months went by. I kept getting signs of her name appearing and her date of birth number. But still nothing. 12 years went by then finally she got married… to someone else. I WAS DEVASTATED 😢 I couldn’t understand!! What were all the sign’s about? Its not fair. She shouldn’t have been at the club that night when i asked to never see her again because I’ve been there 100 times and never saw her before or after. Only one other random time some years later. God shouldn’t have let her come there if I would believe for her for 12 years for nothing.

I don't want you to have a false assumption of God. When she rejected you, that was God's way of saying she was not the one for you. The devil could have been causing her to look at you as a distraction. I liked a guy once. He showed every sign beforehand that he was not worth the time but I kept going. Thanks for this video; if I may I’d like to tell a bit about me. Grew up with lots of trauma including ( sexual/ physical and mental )abuse, kidnapping, gaslighting. My dad who became “ Christian after impregnating my halfsister at age 11. My mom and her daughters fled him, leaving the child w us( my dad brother and me) and raised her as “my sibling. Told me horrible stories about my mom and instilled fear in me to ever contact her. Went to therapy and feel confident that I’m equipped w the right tools to deal w life…I left the house at 21, moved in w my atheist boyfriend had 3 pregnancies close together but was forced to abort the second. Now 24 yrs in; I realize that I need change, to grow in my relationship w the Lord. The feelings of wanting a life more pleasing to the lord are so strong I can NOT ignore it. But I’m scared, not of being alone in this life, but scared to leave having no family, no job due to a chronic illness and little money to find a place to live. I don’t need much a roof and room for my kids and cats😁 will do. Any advice and prayers are welcome..

This is all true. Took me 41yrs and A LOT of failed relationships before I met my person and everything he described in the video is what happened first and during. I didn't even think I was ready to date because I wasn't "perfect" at that time but then he came and he stuck by and saw through all the "mess" as I saw through his imperfections. Also if he would've come to me sooner I never would've given him a chance because he's 13yrs younger than me. God ripped away what I thought my partner should look like on the outside and made it so I focused on his character. Who he is is everything I wanted and more. Definitely worth the wait ❤
