Another very very very underrated series is Chaos Walking. Patrick Ness’s writing is amazing and his characters are so deep and beautiful (Todd is the most precious bean ever) and twists keep you going on and on until you realize you haven’t breathed in a minute which is starting to be long. @nanadelweiss90175 жыл бұрын
J&E Precision Logistics The main character is living on a planet on which the men’s thoughts are gathered in what is called “the Noise”. Everyone can see, hear or feel what men and animals think. There is no place for privacy. Todd (the MC) is the youngest of his village and has never seen a woman or a girl in his life as they all died a few years ago. One day, as he is walking around with his dog (Manchee) he finds a hole in “the Noise”. We then follow him as he tries to figure out what it is, where it comes from and what it means for the future. I am sorry I am not usually very good at this but I hope I did it right. If not, I’d recommend you check out the book’s synopsis 😉

Yes, Graceling! I completely agree...Graceling deserves a resurgence! I reread Graceling this month for the first time in years and I have an even greater appreciation for how well it has aged. I actually think that the reading order you chose makes a lot of sense! Choosing to read Bitterblue before Fire just helps the flow of the overall series. I’ve recently read “Truly devious” because I’ve heard a lot about it. I felt so disappointed because I expected something absolutely different. The books were so slow and so predictable that I can’t even describe it! What’s more there’s no logical conclusion to the first book. If felt as if the author just decided to stop at that particular moment because she’d already written a decent number of pages for the book to be published. But I’m definitely going to check out other series because your recommendations are always great!

One of my favorite series that I read in high school is the Power of the Five series by Anthony Horowitz, and no one has heard of it. It's been so long since I've read it that I can't give a more critical/professional appraisal of them, but what I do know is that they took me by surprise and the last book is one of very few that has made me actually, genuinely cry. I loved the characters and the mixture of paranormal/mythological/adventure genres, and it's just one of the most unique series I've read and I've always been disappointed that not many people are familiar with it. Highly, highly recommend. And thank you for all your recommendations! There were a couple titles you mentioned that I actually had not heard of and I'm excited to look into them :)
