@@yourkpopdailydose3629 enemies to lovers- best ones I've found that are kinda close to The Cruel Prince are From Blood And Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout and Storm and Silence by Robert Thier. I think I have read a book that is similar in plot to The Cruel Prince, but I cannot remember which book it was. I haven't read enough of these to really comment on your favourites (though I love Six of Crows, and I'm super looking forward to The Gilded Wolves and An Ember in the Ashes). Some of my favourite fantasies (I don't really distinguish between age groups) are: Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy - My favourite series of all time. It's a middle grade urban fantasy about a twelve year-old Irish girl who becomes the apprentice of a magical detective who just so happens to be an animated skeleton. It's fun, it's witty, it's hilarious, it's dark and disturbing, it's sometimes incredibly emotional. The characters are to die for, the world is intriguing, and the plot is one of the most intricately-constructed I have ever read. Every single plot point - no matter how minor - is circled back to at some later point in the series. Wonders of the Invisible World by Christopher Barzak is my favourite standalone - possibly my favourite book of all time. It's a YA urban fantasy about a boy called Aidan Lockwood growing up in the small, sleepy town of Temperance, Ohio. He is just sort of drifting through life. He has no friends, or any real interests, hobbies or ambitions. Then his best childhood friend, Jarrod, returns to Temperance after years away and starts talking about things that Aidan doesn't remember, but should. Such as the strange visions he had of a man in a black suit. They decide to try and recover Aidan's memories, and along the way they discover the history of the Lockwood family. The Bartimaeus Sequence by Jonathan Stroud is a YA urban fantasy set in a world where magicians enslave spirits to do their bidding. It follows a djinni called Bartimaeus, who is summoned by a young child to steal The Amulet of Samarkand from the powerful magician, Simon Lovelace. It's a story about slavery, the corruption of power, classism, crooked justice, and watching someone you love turn into a monster. And it's also about redemption and hope. Timekeeper by Tara Sim. A YA alternate universe historical steampunk fantasy m/m romance set in a world where time is controlled by magic clock towers. It follows a young clock mechanic called Danny Hart, who falls in love with a time spirit, which is illegal. Meanwhile terrorists are bombing the clock towers and stopping time. It's my favourite book romance of all time, the plot is intricate and complex, and the characters are incredible. The Diviners by Libba Bray, which I know you already know about. The Tarot Sequence by K. D. Edwards. An adult urban fantasy set in the city of New Atlantis, which is ruled by creatures of immense magical power called Arcana, who tarot cards are based on. It follows Rune Saint John, last remaining heir to the Sun Throne, whose entire family was slaughtered when he was fifteen. Now Rune works as a mercenary to get by. He is hired to investigate the disappearance of Addam Saint Nicholas, the son of Lady Justice, and gets roped into agreeing to protect another Arcana heir, Matthias Saint Valentine, until he turns 21. The characters are absolutely incredible, the worldbuilding is amazing, and the relationships are adorable. It's one of my favourite found families of all time. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, which I'm also pretty sure you already know all about. and City of Spires by Claudie Arseneault. It's an adult high fantasy set in the free city of Isandor, which is one of the only free cities standing against the tyrannical Myrian Empire. The Myrians have an enclave in the city and their leader uses this to get up to terrible things. It follows the idealistic Lord Diel Dathirii in his attempts to unite the great houses of Isandor and drive the Myrians out of the city, but first he has to contend with the grudges between the houses. Meanwhile, Lord Arathiel Brasten returns to Isandor after a century of being trapped in a place where time doesn't flow, and takes shelter in the slums. It has a full LGBT+ cast (emphasis on the +) and masterfully works themes of class, race, gender and sexuality into the story. The characters are incredible, it has one of my favourite found families of all time, the worldbuilding is great, and the plot is twisty and unpredictable.

If you are a true fantasy fan, then you should definitely read SCARLETT LOST IN THE FIVE LANDS by Rajendra Sarilla. It has powerful female characters, intimidating villains, dragons, and a magic school too. A complete fantasy package. It also deals with bullying since the titular character Scarlett is constantly bullied for being different. It is the first fantasy book that i came across which has a powerful female lead without needing to have a super powerful boyfriend to save her.

I'd like to recommend to you 'The Priory of The Orange Tree' by Samantha Shannon. It's a standalone and the thing I loved the most about it was the worldbuilding. Literally everything about this book is so pretty and wholesome: the map, the names (of characters and places), the LGBT rep, the characters and their depth. There are dragons and dragon riders. All in all, I'm still astounded by it!
