You really have a nice wsy of explanation. i love this Dianthus. its a beautuful plant. i just bought one..a singke stslk. it gave many flowers but please advise what to do once the flowers dry up.....should we tri. it off or pull out tge6 dried petals becsuse ut looked completely dry n brown. plesse reply

@Anusha Kasera, I have tried it on few plants and works like other Micro-nutrients. But please note that, it's not a magical fertilizer and wouldn't produce lots of flowers if we don't do other things the right way. Basically, it just contains Micro-nutrients, not NPK! Thank you!

I wonder if difference between danthus and carnation is just petal count 🤣 danthus is single petal and carnation is multi. Is this correct

Depends on environment..for example, in tropical places (like India) it's grown as winter flowering plant. It can't tolerate hot weather in Summer. But in cold climate, it's grown in Spring to get flowers in Summer. So, if summer temp in your place is not above 25°C [77°F], definitely you can grow it. Wish you all the best!
