I am a beginner in egyptian arabic, This is an intersting video, with good content but as an Arabic learner I'd like to see the writings in Arabic. I am not sure to whom you make these videos for, but id assume (maybe wrongly) that most serious Arabic learners are learning the writing as well as the reading of your beautiful language. Having said that, your explanations are very good and you come across as a very friendly and lovely young woman. Thank you.

Excellent work. 10:50 ba'aali sana fi maSr wi-ba'iili sana - Grammatically, I think, ba'a + li is a past tense verb + li (to me) while ba'iili is active participle (referring to the current and future situation) baa'i + li where i is lengthened when the suffix was added, and the long aa is shortened according to the so common phonetic rules of Egypian and Levantine. What do you think?

It is corrwct, however it is lengthened at the end because it's active participle and this verb in active participle ends in i "baa2ii"

Respectfully, Professor Alia Youssef, there are plenty of Arabic-origin words in today's Spanish. For example, Almuhada means pillow, Funda means hotel, etc.
