2:36 You might want to mention that most if not all the cases are for newborns delivered through a C-Section.. about 1-2 weeks TOO EARLY, ON PURPOSE!!!!! (To avoid a natural birth)

The earlier you give it the better. Most bleeds happen early so best to get it soon after birth.

Thank u doctor for the information. I wanted to know why do they give vitamin K biweekly when baby is on IV antibiotic.

Some antibiotics will decrease the absorption of vitamin K. Cephalosporins (like Ceftazidime or cefuroxime) used for a long time will decrease your body's levels of vit K so best to replenish. Hope this helps
