Even if you are 8 feet apart, you still are in the same room hence sharing the same air without wearing masks...Just be more careful guys and take care of yourselves and loved ones. Opening the windows might lessen the chance of transmission though

I was about to type the same thing! This has been what the science has been saying for months now! They need decent air flow, or an air filter, if they're going to be filming indoors. And masks! Or just say that they're taking a risk, but doing their best! I appreciate the distance though. Anything that minimizes exposure helps! And I do really like the video!

White miso paste is also pretty good at giving you a cheesy, umami flavor. Weirdly, I've had an easier time finding the miso paste than nutritional yeast locally, but I think that's probably because nooch is such a go-to for vegan/dairy-free recipes. (Lots of vegans and vegan restaurants around me)

Hi Merle, you're really nice and fun. I'd like to give you some suggestions for the next time you'll prepare a pizza. The baking mixture you do is really important, you can activate it by using less baking cube (Sorry, I don't know how you call it in english), maybe 10gr. or even less, ina bowl with warm water (not hot) and 100gr of flour. After 30 min you should add this mixture to the rest of your floor. I usually use 700 or 800gr of that. Now the difficult part: add warm water and salt. If you want a very good pizza, a light one that doesn't make you feel heavy, try to add a lot of water. When you'll be really able, you could add water for half the weight of your flour. You'll get an very fluffy dough. Put some e.vergin olive oil on your hands and start working on your dough. This will make it incorporate air. Put this dough in your refrigerator for the night, covered with a plastic film. At the morning take it out, wait untill it's at room temperature. Press it with your hands. Make a ball again. Wait 30 minute, or an hour. Put it on a hoven pan, without pressing it.. It will be difficult, but you'll get a loooot of bubbles. Wait 30 minutes again. Put your sauce and cook it in the hoven 20 minutes at 240 celsius d. Add the other ingredients 10 minutes after it is done. I could write more specifically, but my thumbs are done! Hope you like it. Bye bye

Where the heck are you shopping that Beyond Sausages are $9 a package!? Our local Wal-Mart has them for $6! #StickerShock Maybe that's the difference between a Whole Foods in Southern California and a Wal-Mart in Utah.... Sidenote: being unable to digest either gluten or soy, my 'dirt cheap' vegan pizza ends up being a 'crust' I make from ground up oatmeal, water, salt, and olive oil... (cost unknown, but a box of gluten free oatmeal costs about $3) leftover homemade marinara with the extra juice drained off...(canned tomatoes I can find for about $.80), a large sprinkle of nutritional yeast (Typically $5-$6 a can since we don't have bulk stores nearby), and whatever vegetables we have in the house; typically leftover steamed broccoli and sliced onion. I'm too lazy to do the math, but with as expensive as gluten free flours are... *shrug* My 'highballing' vegan pizza consists of: gluten free focaccia bread (that also makes a lovely pizza crust), more homemade marinara, Daiya Mozzarella-style shreds, and my favorite toppings including mushrooms, Beyond Meat crumbles, onion, and bell pepper. Since we have been living in a hotel for 4 months thanks to gas prices and poor credit, my go-to has lately been whatever 'pizza-like' ingredients we have in the kitchenette; usually gluten free bread, sauce, and Daiya cheese. I'll toast the bread and then pile on the toppings before nuking it in the microwave until the cheese melts...the only way I can enjoy gluten free pizza without an oven.

You could definitely make it without the oil drizzle. You could just put basil leaves and roasted cloves of garlic on the top of the pizza. You could even finely chop it and scatter them around. Or possibly puree with a little water, though I haven't tried that. I don't remember if the dough she made used oil or not. But there are recipes with and without it.
