You're not getting anything for £5 in London to be fair. Also from what I remember that all you can eat place used to cost less (I think £6?) so maybe they didn't realise it had gone up before filming. But yeah saying £500 when it's £200 is a weird choice.

@@captainawesome3734 Not necessarily fresh veggies. My favourite eatery caters for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans and their vegan stuff is made with seasonal veggies - freshly bought The only group they don't cater for are carnivores who only eat meat.

this has got to be my favorite bosh episode. Seriously - both of these meals were great in their own way. One way with the mind - the creativity and innovation. The other with the heart - very happy, warm-hearted, low stress, and fun! I love the fancy meal, and sometimes I can go to a buffet - but that buffet was on it! Wow. I'm so happy watching this - I want to be there, but I'm already there with this video!

I enjoyed the comparison. Almost half of the cost of the swanky dinner was in alcohol, I think. The other half of the cost in the Chef’s time, preparing all those complicated dishes and flavours. This video brings up a good point…restaurants and cafés need to regularly sit in every one of their chairs and benches to check for comfort and sturdiness. I don’t know how many times I’ve sat in poorly maintained chairs, etc. at restaurants and cafés.

worth every penny for that once in a lifetime event. Who honestly cares for the chair at that rate lol. I guess you're right though - for a fancy place, safety is everything.

My wife and I were bought a tasting menu at a Michelin starred restaurant. 8 courses, absolutely fabulous tasting, but some small portions. I am 6’3” and 15 stones. I wanted to stop at the chippy on the way home! Also, it was very pretentious. They weren’t best pleased that we didn’t buy a different (ridiculously expensive) wine with each course. We enjoyed the novelty of the experience, but wouldn’t repeat it. It did make me think more about the detail of the food I cook at home, though.

Absolutely love Gauthier incredible food. Good to see familiar faces as well, that waiter and sommelier look after us last time we were there. If you enjoyed it I would recommend the vegan menu at Six by Nico as well.

I try the 200 quid meal once, not sure about the 3d printed meat, I first became vegetarian as meat made me ill, so worry that the 3d printed/lab grown meat may cause the same cramps the real stuff used to. All you can eat vegan I have done several times and love them, the ones I have been to have some amazing food.

well Eat Meati has a 'classic steak' that looks just like this one - and it's completely vegan - made of 95% mushrooms! It's as realistic as you can get to real meat! I don't believe in 3d printed meat as much, because it is the real animal proteins, which are sickening! Why go back to meat when you just don't have to.

The warm heart and atmosphere in the buffet is surely a win win...not to mention indian food that are one of the best in the world if not the best!

We sat at the chefs table with a tasting vegan menu at a swanky city restaurant and the food was interesting and much of it was good but my husband said my vegan cooking is better!

Cheap Brown food will always win hands down, but that posh meal could be done once for a change. Although it would be more sizzle than (Seitan) Steak.
