My favorite usage of my graphics tablet (I use Huion) is that my wife no longer has a conniption fit when I edit photos due to my incessant mouse clicking. Best marriage tip ever.

I did this tutorial on my XP-Pen star G640 and it worked really well. If you're on a budget, you should look into it; it's just 1/10th of the price of this Wacom.

Graphic tablets are definitely useful for photography, and nowadays you do not need a wacom anymore. there are plenty of brands that offer the identical quality to wacom but for a lot lower price, sometimes even improving over Wacom. Examples are Huion and XP-Pen. Wacom has been standing still and enjoying their position as solitary market leader too long, with it enjoying way too high prices as well. They have failed to innovate or adapt to the market and there is simply no point spending that much extra cash on a wacom since it wont do the job any better than other brands. Anyways, the most used thing for my drawing tablet are layer masks definitely. You can draw them infinitely more precise and faster than with a mouse.

I think I will stick with my Wacom tablets rather than buying from another Chinese company that has basically stolen the technology. Also, even if they work the same I would be surprised if they are as durable. One of my Intuos tablets has been serving on a daily basis since before these companies even existed.
@tHaH4x0r5 жыл бұрын
@@zaugitude They did not 'steal' their technology. Touch pad technology is not patented by anyone, and was around long before Wacom. In the meantime, technology develops further and existing technologies become cheaper. Wacom could have innovated or reduced their price, but instead they pushed up their profit margins. You can watch plenty of reviews from actually artists and designers here on youtube, that arguably are a lot more dependent on their drawing tablet than us photographers, and they all seem to endorse these brands. (Also, that something is made in china does not make it bad quality, also, i'd bet that the wacoms are built in china anyways) The thought that companies in china only make cheap bad quality rip-offs is quite dated now. This might have been the case 10 years ago, but not anymore. Often they produce the same quality, if not better product for cheaper. Other examples include Huawei, Xiaomi and DJI.

@andyroy57365 жыл бұрын
Go for M. With L, its hard to sync the screen, too much table real estate. Unless you are doing a lot of large scale painting, its a no. And If you have a chance to test them out before you buy, I really think you should make your mind and purchase after you do that. All the best! :)

Why "5 Wacom Tips"? I can do the same things on my less expensive XP Pen tablet...
@vshakir6225 жыл бұрын
Yes Sir, you can. I have a Huion Graphics Tablet that I've had for several years...(since I'm on a budget) and these same tips apply to any such device. Aaron has always used Wacom, and, from the looks of it, when he holds up the tablet and you can see the wear on the device, this might be the exact one he has been using all these years. 🤣🤓😍 Another possibility is that, since Aaron is so good at what he does, and he and his team have always provided such wonderful content, Aaron could now be sponsored by Wacom and they have compensated Phlearn to say Wacom. But, honestly, when you have a tool that you love and swear by, that's what you're going to recommend.
