Her niche is only found once you have some knowledge and experience using Tail Wind half-decently, which causes most people to just hop on the brainless bandwagon and say she needs a rework.

+Cr33pysku11 tail wind is redundant with bullet jump. It is a mobility based move with barely any damage, so bullet jump does the same thing. Dive bomb does almost 0 damage. They need to give her something else. Maybe something that allows her to actually fly around?

Brandon summerlin I have the same experience, but people are not always hating, unless you banish the fuck out of them, which I don´t I banish only when I´m reviving and when there´s a large group of enemies that teammates can´t handle, so I´m kinda a support limbo :)

+Cortex as am I, I would like to do a cataclysm build and use a carrier to gather all the loot drops so that when I drop cataclysm everything is in one spot waiting for people, but they tend to be impatient, the only time picking up drops immediately is in survival, or a checkpoint in defense/interception, and if you banish your team mates they can still use their powers and get that additional energy restore, but nope they're right I'm totally here to ruin the entire mission

The key focus behind any tweaks will be on making it easier for him to get in and out of the Rift. Instead of being tied to his abilities, this mechanic will be linked to dodging and other movement effects. Effort Additionally, looking at the Rift itself, we are toying with expanding upon the “control the battlefield” idea to include time manipulation, so that Limbo can slow or stop enemies completely in order to better plan out his attacks.

Good list. Oberon is one of my favourite warframes and the one I've used the most, although I rarely use him now as I've obtained more frames and use them as well. He's still my go to frame for nightmare missions though. As for his damage out put I've never had any issue with it. It would be interesting to see what they would do to him in a rework.

Nyx's Absorb ability really seems like something that would be more fitting for Mags to have. If Mind Control didn't need the syndicate mod to buff the damage output and had a little longer duration it could be a really good ability to stand out from Chaos. Any other abilities related to her theme of telekinesis seems like it has been done by other frames though. Force Pushing things would be like Banshees scream, making enemies blank out would be a chip off of lots of other frames abilities, and all that. Maybe a "sense motive" type of ability where she gains a damage buff and/or an armor buff could be a thing? Like maybe if you're not in a fight yet the ability would give you a damage buff that'd last a decent bit, while if you're in a fight you could cast it again to gain an armor buff? I dunno what else could be done with her without stepping on other warframes toes.

I liked that you went over Oberon. I think his powers need to be buffed in damage and with range mods should effect the size of his Shag Carpet of death. One good thing though is when you use The Shag Carpet of Death you can recast it over and over so that it stacks which as proven quite helpful in more than a few missions. I like his fast ball special as well but they could use a buff. Heal is nice as well but would be nice if it were a bit more effective, however it works well for me. The 4th is great but as you mentioned suffers from serious damage scaling. I'm kind of surprised you didn't put Zephyr in b/c she's kind of dying for a rework as well. You said you've been pretty sick. I hope you get better soon, it sucks to be incapacitated by an ailment.

I have to say, that I build Limbo a few months ago, just because I love his appearence and all of his non-combat moves like taking his head off and presenting himself as a magician and so on. Looking at his abilities, only the second and fourth one are actually used by me frequently, because I don't understand, what the third one does and the first is not really appealing for me, unless it instantly kills the enemy. The second ability saved my life very often and the fourth one is my favorite because not only that Limbo strikes a wonderful pose while doing it, it makes damage on two times: in the initiation of it and when you let the bubble collaps.

What I really want on an Oberon rework is to have hallowed ground as an aura ability (because having the ability to resist knock downs, status effects while getting an armour buff is better to have around than having it in a small carpet), renewal instantly heals around 50% health and then applies a heal over time while instantly latching on an ally only until a certain range (then it has to float to said ally).

To be honest Nova and Nyx are amazing as they are without synergy (seriously check out the new augment for Nyx's absorb, being able to fire, move and cast abilities while in absorb is so powerful). They are by no means one-trick-ponies since I always find myself using all of their abilities whether it's speed running with wormhole, farming with molecular prime, negating some damage from my team with mind control on ancients, etc. Also one of the best warframes in the game has almost no synergy between his abilities (yes I'm talking about Mr. Master race himself Loki). I know this may seem like a rant but it's not. Nova's null star could definitely use a slight tweak even though it's still usable and most of the frames in this list I agree with but this is just my opinion. Love your work and looking forward to future videos :)

Would love if oberon's heal had a secondary effect, something like if someone under the effects of his 3 in his visual range takes fatal damage, it ends the rejuv effect on them and dumps X health into their health pool. Letting him provide a little aoe wukong effect to his allies.

I really just came for what you'd say about my main, Oberon. Really, the fact that I can play alost any role on the team is why I use him, and people don't understand that multitasking with him is what makes him good. When I first got Oberon, I was really dissapointed too, but months later, I rebuilt him as a more experienced player. The ability to heal, buff, damage, CC, and tank as smoothly as you wish to do so inna mission is is incredible in any situation the game has to offer. I do not want him to be more focused on any role, becuase that would ruin his purpose. What I do want is a buff to Hallowed Ground. All of his other abilites are solid.

i wish banshee's ultimate was replaced with an ability called sound barrier where you provide a blast sound to allies and yourself drastically increasing survivability with personal sound shields which can offset banshee due to her squishness and improve her role as a support frame

Hydroid is already a cc frame with barrage knockdowns by his first ability, push back with his tidal surge, and aoe grapple and finisher damage with his fourth ability. Negative range to cluster his rain and tentacles closer with duration so you can hit choke points or cryopods. I'd say he justs a needs a bit of a tweak or change to his puddle.

The "puddle thing" is good for void intercepts. Got to wave 12 on T4 intercept with a friend who had hydroid and he did a glitch where it stops the enemy's from spawning.

I agree about limbo for the most part, I'd say keep rift walk and cataclysm and change the other two abilities. Although I'd also want a slight tweak to cataclysm so that if anything is inside the bubble with you they can be interacted with, like being able to hack terminals, open lockers and break containers, to compensate for that though I think either you should get no energy regen or it even drains your energy while you are inside the bubble. You could also go as far to combine the affect of rift surge into cataclysm so that while enemies are inside the bubble they take more damage. Thoughts and opinions?

1. Null Star needs to do more. The portal for escape/giving a breather, the antimatter slow nuke and MP don't really need to be touched upon imo. 2. I just want Oberon to still have radiation but have his Reckoning trap up and choke enemies, occasionally sending out a 5-10 meter blind for unreckon'd enemies. Like a channeling ability to hold and choke up wide amounts of enemies. Oh and have his Renewal actually stay on allies and actually give them real longer bleedout duration. 3. Limbo does fill the space ninja role in my opinion. Helps stealth frames so that they won't need to care about lasers that detect upon touch, and that one place that has tons of lasers that you need to avoid getting hit while going down. And his role is clear. Immediate, invincible safety. And dividing enemy attention so rifted people fight rifted enemies while on the other side of the corridor, unrifted enemies fight. He's good at what he does, which is Engagement Control. Now we just need an augment to have his 4th actually trap enemies..

As a player that always enjoyed playing Limbo, and every now and then still go back to play him, I will admit, he does desperately need a rework. The fact he has an ability slot completely dedicated to just simply dropping himself into the rift feels really bad, and could be changed onto his 1 as a hold to self cast. Cataclysm feels also rather meh, haven't no real damage purpose, and is solely used for dragging mass enemy groups into the rift. His only real stand out ability is Rift Surge, which combined with his passive, makes him extremely lethal inside the rift, coupled with the augment, and he mows down enemies with ease. Just, swapping Cataclysm to his 3, Rift Surge to 2, adding the hold to self cast for Banish, and maybe a new ult, something like collapsing the rift on all enemies within, damaging them, whilst healing allies at the same time or something like that. Just, moving his utility and power around to put him more in line with others. As for Nova, fuck yeah she needs a rework. M Prime and Anti-Matter are her only really consistent abilities. Her 1 is probably one of the worst basic abilities, and her 3 sees more use for trolling teammates then anything else. Oberon, everyone's talked about giving him a rework for ages, no surprise he's on the list. Nyx, desperately needs it, as her main viability is on Loki without a random chance to cause, but guaranteed with the aug. And Hydroid, he more feels like they rushed the theme, wanting a full elemental group. For him, I'd more say almost fully rework, and base him more around cleansing allies/enemies. So, can remove negative effects/debuffs from allies and/or prevent their application, can remove beneficial effects from enemies (eg, the grenieer buffing drones. Would make sense as part of the fight to get him includes dealing with periodic spawns of them) or stuff like that. There's a ton of stuff they could have done with a water based theme, but just threw together whatever first sprung to mind.

I feel like Limbo's rift surge needs to be a passive ability rather than an actual skill. Instead, the replacement could be a rift wave, where he sends out a shock-wave to send himself and multiple enemies into the rift simultaneously. It could be like cataclysm, but it always comes from limbo, and it happens instantly and only works for the enemies caught in it's radius. Compensation for cataclysm would be that it would deal damage to enemies over time, and gives a regenerative health boost to allies depending on how many total entities are in the rift. I won't recommend this effect for his other abilities though, because we still need a good reason to use cataclysm.

There is one reason to play him- the last invulnerability in the game. While Kela Sortie Boss OS's all frames under a 75% blessing, limbo with OE can cover the entire map, trivializing the rocket stage.

Here's some of the kickers of Nyx though, and these are probably my favorite things about her: ANY ability has a chance to make enemies decide swap to their melee You can also mind control a target and shoot them with whatever weapon you have a fuck ton then either end mind control early or wait for it to expire, then all that damage gets applied.

Epsilon Sorry for the late answer. I find Nyx very useful. Mind control id a great ability. Chaos is just a beast and absorb also still kills the enemies if some of your friends shot you while you are absorbing. Now psychic bolts are also a great crowd control ability. If you use it with the augment mod it can confuse enemies for 10 seconds soo i think all of her abilities are great but fucking ember lovers dont understand her potential. I am happy to see you understand it too.

The problem with Oberon is that he is poorly advertised. Instead of advertising him as a CC tank, he is advertised as a cross between a damage frame and a healer, and although his healing isn't terrible, it starts to fall off fairly early. His damage however, is abysmal, and shouldn't be expected to kill anything stronger than a butcher at level 30+. Because of this, most people expect to be able to play him as a cross between a damage frame and a healer, and write him off when they find that he does neither of those well. But, if you build and play him right, he is an extremely strong frame, whose biggest issue in a sortie will be people leaving the squad when the see you playing a frame that they don't fully understand. Not only does Oberon have great stats, but his abilities are all extremely useful. His first ability is a guaranteed rad proc on all enemies it affects, and can be augmented to buff allies' damage. His second ability gives a twenty percent armor buff, (which is affected by strength mods) provides status immunity to all allies who stand in it, and can be augmented for a guaranteed rad proc upon recasting it. His third ability, although requiring you to be in fondling range of allies for them to receive the healing it provides fast enough to save them 90% of the time, can massively heal you, giving Oberon great survivability. And his last ability has guaranteed rad procs, along with a long stun duration, making it incredible CC. TL;DR Oberon is a frame that most people don't understand because he not advertised as what he really is, a CC tank.

As to your "Nova gets a pass for press 4 to win" thing, she doesn't "press 4 to win." she just "presses 4 to slow down/speed up enemies" the killing is left up to you. as to where with Ash "press 4 to win", he presses his 4 and kills everything in sight....see the difference? and if Nova is a press 4 to win, that means so is loki =p

I completely agree with this video. A good use for limbo would be on the sortie defense missions (usually you'll be defending a VIP). Banish the VIP to the rift and rift-walk yourself while your team kills the enemies. The VIP takes no damage and neither do you so the mission should be easy.

Only thing on Nyx that needs some changes is Psychic Bolt. Long range, rad proc chance is unreliable, and doesn't do much. Augment not worth taking up a mod slot. Absorb is her panic 'save myself, knockdown everyone and run' button. Mind Control on Ancients, Eximii and fast DPS enemies can really help in increasing survivability, or dividing attention away from some of your allies. Chaos is what she does best.

Oberon is a mixed frame from him being my main I have seen him excel in being a back lineman if you use hallowed grownd on allies (including specters and hostages) and use renewal while they are in it they get a armor buff, that's where his scaling goes upping his strength even at the loss of duration and his efficiency is a big help because I use to have it up to 500 armor added it can be game changing, it makes the new reworked valkure Pritty much unable to die, he is amazing in a group with the right build you just gonna know his tricks

Idk about reworking oberon. I find his abilities to be fairly okay due to the radiation status effect it can bestow on enemies, effectively drops their damage. his best ability is renewal that gives a burst of health and then gives health until either the user's energy is depleted or everyone is healed. he does need damage scaling. Limbo is pretty interesting banish is essentially enemy kidnapping that can be used to single out priority enemies for limbo to kill in the rift. rift walk is pretty self explanatory and I generally use it to regen health, go afk, escape a dire situation, kill the enemies I kidnapped, hold aggro without taking any damage, run spy missions without tripping sensor alarms, etc. rift surge is like rhino's roar ability but constrained to the rift plane. Finally cataclysm is probably his best and can be used to control choke points, create safe zones or kill zones when combined with rift surge. needless to say limbo is a frame that makes you use it's abilities quite intensively but he does need proper damage scaling.

Oberon was my second frame so I may be biased, but I think people say he needs a rework because there are parts of his abilities that people don't realize. Like his 1 can make 20 orbs that give radiation and confuse other enemies like a mini chaos. His 3, if modded right, gives a very good instant heal. His 2 buffs armor if you're standing in it. His 4 has a tini radial blind for each enemy affected. Used right, he can actually do a lot of control, a decent amount of damage, and heals. He's fun!

I see your point and I have a few opinions I'd like to share. I rarely use any of Nyx's abilities other than Chaos but, I do have a build dedicated to Absorb and I've had some good moments with it. I occasionally will spam my Chaos Bolts on top of my Chaos just to try and get her unreliable passive off. That being said, she could do with a rework. As for Limbo, I've actually picked him up recently after hating him for so long. I think, as he is currently, he's actually one of the strongest point defense frames in the game, that's excluding Sortie Defense which he simply cheeses. Again however, I could see him getting reworked. All valid points across the board, just wanted to throw my two cents out there.

I've been playing a bit of Hydroid and I only use him on low level missions to help people get into warframe, I have him look like a ghillie suit sniper with a grinneer sniper I don't remember the name of at the moment. But I find him enjoyable to use in a chilled out environment and is fun to use with friends as we act like but only traverse the level through tidal waves. at this time I am fine with how he is and hope he does get a rework and some damage buffs to powers like tidal wave to make him a unique pick in defense missions. but overall I am comfortable with how he is now

what about rhino? I love rhino so much but I think he could use a little love from DE his first ability and third ability are hardly ever used, since he doesn't have a large energy pool, and energy you get tends to be reserved for his second and fourth abilities, I don't think I really see any other rhino player use his first ability AT ALL and rarely see his second ability

i see his first used alot as just a "get to point b" alot, as for his roar, ALL THE TIME. I don't just mean sometimes I mean you build it and its great for that duration extend on dmg buffs. Seeing as he is not a support frame from the start you could build him with duration just for the forth and already have some good time extends for his third. I'm not even a rhino player but i've used him enough and played with people who use him and see the extra dmg do quite a bit when used in big wave cc and boss fights but i'm not a pro so maybe its just cause i don't played all the time.

I don't hate the opinion against Limbo, this was probably made before his rework. Even if it wasn't; it can get boring to basically be infinitely untouchable after a while. The reason I play Limbo the most is because I can easily freeze people in cataclysm while me and my team are immune to damage, and we regen a lot of energy at the same time. For defense/survival missions, Limbo is amazing, considering the enemies just flock to you and the main point of either is to kill them all asap. Limbo can CC a large area; keeping enemies away from a position. I can survive to a full 2 hours on a survival mission SOLO if I just manage his 2 and 4 together, even though I've only been playing for a total of 23 days. I have been able to clear every planet to Pluto in solo in about 120 hours of play time, subtracting all the times I was just playing random missions. Just saying. Limbo is really amazing altogether, but I can understand it will get amazingly boring to play as him.

I am legitimately surprised Zephyr didn't make it onto this list. It's quite arguable that she only has 1 ability that is worth using (we all know which one I'm talking about...) and even that doesn't fit her theme very well.

I love the Hydroid puddle power, i can just press 3 in defence and go read a book for the rest of the match. Still it could be better. i like the idea of the puddle turning into a whirlpool, any enemies sucked in get sucked down into this whirlpool pit into the floor that leads to .. where ever and death.

I think Limbos first and second could be put in one ability.For example press 1 to banish someone and hold 1 to banish yourself so it would open an ability slot.

I do really think that are warframes that need a rework faster than some on this list. Sure, it would be nice to see a teak and more synergy on Nyx or Nova, but Zephyr or Banshee for example need it now

Hey Bouse, can i get your opinion on the Saryn rework? I like her overall theme of poison and such, but with the way the game is played, DOT attacks seem useless because any enemy with poison on them, will most likely just be shot by another teammate. The only sorta usefull thing ive seen someone do with her is use the empowering melee ability but that also just seems like such a wast...

I had a Hydroid. All i ever got was shit talk when i tried to bring him on a raid, though his rain bullets knock down enemies. it stressed me so bad i got rid of him and all that hard work to farm him felt wasted.

My ideal Oberon rework: Smite - add a guaranteed slow(cold proc?) to affected targets for duration Hallowed Ground - make allies gain 5% bonus armor per second for anyone standing in it, up to +100% for duration Renewal - make it just spawn health orbs that can be collected whenever, add an augment where he gives, say, 150 ferrite armor to allies when they pick up one of the orbs Reckoning - add a 5% damage bonus per enemy affected to yourself and all allies within range for 20 seconds I'd like this boy to be more of a protecting frame, like the paladin label they stick to him.

+BouseFeenux I have a suggestion/question, I just got a new gaming PC, and coming from ps4, I've had some difficulty adjusting to the controls (like X instead of E to use). nova's press 4 to win style is still a problem in the same sense as ash's since it causes her to lack skill variety, but it atleast is more interactive than blade storm by both you and the enemy: you and your allies all benefit from having double damage enemies, and having said enemies be slowed, and requires you to fight them with the twist of them being debuffed instead of just press 4 and watch ash kill everyone without touching the keyboard

He wants them to have a better variety of powers, and not a frame that has 1 or 2 skills that are usable. The thing is though, it's players not being creative that is often the problem. Some players refuse to work as a team in survivals except as a set squad, so people clamor for abilties that level enemies and have excellent crowd control in one instead of unique skills. The irony is most people who suggest reworks often make the frame more brainless in their mockups, not less. That said, if antimatter drop homed in on enemies instead of guiding by aiming, it would likely be used more, and if null star had bigger orbs with seeking explosive procs. But see there, even I just made Nova too powerful. The warp ability is actually really good and gets a squad out of a jam if used right, I think that as a unique power should stay.

In case of Limbo that is actually pretty good assasin with his self buff, but it will actually be better if he wasn't limited to actually one target, yes I know Cataclysm can send multiple enemies into the rift but just today I get paired with another limbo that didn't knew shit about how to play him the problem with Limbo isn't just that he can't take a hit in endgame but his abilities pretty much don't do much for the rest of the group with the exception of rift walk that can actually be used to heal down players, the big issue with limbo is that pretty much take enemies out of the fight to kill them but most endgame enemies will actually kill limbo in one or two hits...

Ash has been my favorite for some time now. He was my (IIRC) 2nd or 3rd Warframe when I started out. Normal Ash is my 1st most used and Ash Prime is my 2nd as well as main. But I thoroughly believe he needs a rework as well, he doesn't have much synergy, and most of us Ash players always get shit for being "greedy". We obstruct the gameplay of other players with Bladestorm because of the fact that targeted enemies don't take damage from other players while under the effects of Bladestorm. Shuriken and Teleport are basically a separated version of Bladestorm and they really don't hold much importance to gameplay unless you waste precious mod space on their god awful Augment mod, and Smoke Screen's duration is still way too low even with a balanced build for all abilities. Maybe they could change it to an energy drain? Maybe so it's not an OP invis, the energy drain increases by like 20 the farther you run during the ability (Not like Prowl, where-as she cant run and only increases drain while moving) Yes, maybe he is better as a solo Warframe as he is right now. But I'd like to see him become more CO-OP friendly but still hold his solo-ability. Also Nova is a Press 4 + 2 to win, gosh! xD But I'd like to see something done about her 1 as well as Wormhole Sorry this was so long

One warframe i would realy love for them to go back and have another look is Rhino, He was supposed to be a tank warframe and well he kind of is but now a days with more warframes coming out more often it seems He is falling out of favor in favor of the quick clear speed meta. I loved rhino but when your Iron skin at higher levels gets nearly 2 shot why even bother using him.

ive had a whole bunch of ideas for hydroid reworks and i feel like water could be super synergistic with other frames, like water and lightening can really do some damage, or being able to create volitile steam with being hit by fire, etc... his tenticles would still be a thing becuase hey its hydroid, but a lot of whats implimented about him just feels underwhealming... like the tidal surge ability is pretty unique and i love how it looks... but it sucks for mobility, for crowd control, for. damage, its just...there...

I disagree with your choice of nyx, chaos is crowd control and mind control is to kill a single target with impunity (ie lv 70 bursa in a sortie), and finally absorb provides cover for either a revive or the objective in a mission.

Prepare your brain, to master Limbos tricks you are going to use it a lot in a stressfull situations. Protip, use 2nd ability when you need to pee :p

Besides Oberon, I figured Volt would be number 2 on the list. You can go anywhere in the star chart with Excal and (kinda) Mag, but good luck getting outside Jupiter with Volt. His "rework" (complete nerfs) completely ruined him and I completely regret him as my starter frame
