Didn't know such a machine existed, until today. I just heard about the Bob Dylan/Simon & Schuster autograph scam. Originally sold for $600, eBay booksellers were asking for thousands.

Yea I bought one and then got a refund but that's going to be the most famous autopen of all time!

Dylan claimed he had to use an autopen machine, because he had vertigo. Was he standing on a cliff when he signed the books or was sitting in a chair too dangerous? Simon & Schuster said the signatures were "original", but a reproduction. Sure. I have an original Van Gogh painting in a vault, but it is a copy.

This isn't autopen but there's a scene from the first Beatles movie where Paul's grandfather (the character) hides in a basement and tries to copy the Beatles' signatures on photos. At the end of the movie, Paul tells his grandfather to get rid of them, so he drops them down from the helicopter.

Remember autopens are not signatures. They are made by a machine. You don't "have" their signature, you have a picture of what their signature looked like on a given day. Don't pay more than one dollar for it.
