For me it's the Tag Heuer Monaco, i like the watch alot and got to try it out recently, and while most people think it's too big size wise, it's actually not too bad on that aspect. But the thickness is the main issue, you could rock a Monaco on a small to medium wrist IF it wasn't so thick.

Great topic idea! I loved everything about the look of the Nomos Tangente power reserve - until someone mentioned that it's funny that the non-numeral markers all look like they could be the numeral "one" (especially with the first marker being nestled between the actual numerals "12" and "2"). I can't unsee it now and that's definitely holding me back from getting anything from the Tangente model family.

Okay, so the thing about the Due- Panerai Pressure tests to 30m, so it’s not “dress” 30m, but actually 30m. This was cleared up earlier this year when they came out with their Radiomir Quaranta as well. That said, check out the Luminor Quaranta as well. Great proportions and 100m WR

I recently bought the Luminor Quaranta (white) and it seems glued to my wrist! Only take it off when showering, and that’s because I put a leather band on it! Can’t be happier. -greetings from a new Panerista 😅

I finally brought the 42mm white dial version and I love it so much it takes wrist time from my owned from new 2254.50 which I know is one of your favourite watches, that’s how good the Panerai is. I tried many many other panerai’s first over many years and they all felt like wearing a brick after the Omega. All I can say is buy what you love.

I **love** the Octo Finissimo - it;s beautiful to wear, amazingly built and fascinating at every angle. BUT it makes me feel like I need to wear linen suits, loafers with no socks adn get my hair styled every two weeks.... and Ijust can't pull it off. AS for the PloProf, everyone misses the point - its the only way to wear an offensive weapon in full sight in the UK - less a watch, more a wrist-mounted knuckleduster :D

You should have a look / try on of My Omega Z-33 Space Master. That watch is a serious Love- Hate It conversation piece. It width is staggering, because of the resonance needed for the alarm. It’s-surprising light because of its Titanium case. Now I happen to have broad Sasquatch wrists, so it works for me. The Aviation related programs and lighting feature is very cool. A great Pilot Watch tool. Intimidates, your crew mates. Lol!

Yeah, its a definitely no go. On buying any of those watches. I draw the line at wearing Sinn U-1 T-SDR, i had to think for like a year and see it in person to make the purchase and it took a moment for me to pull the trigger on that watch. However, i am happy to report that it has become my daily tool watch!

Good point about how it looks on your wrist. A watch I really like but wouldn't wear is the JLC Reverso. I'm more a tool watch person and wouldn't be comfortable wearing it but I still really like it. Maybe I will buy one someday just to play with it occasionally.

Which one of the Octo Finissimo’s did you try? Because to me the fit depended a lot on the model. All the steel ones are too big for example. Far to big. But the original time only titanium was weirdly perfect. And if you ever can try it, the old, now discontinued, sandblasted rose gold one is kind of a miracle. It’s the most subtle, giant, architectural hunk of gold I ever wore on my wrist.

I think this is a great video. I can definitely relate to those moments of seeing a watch and LOVING it - but there's maybe a small detail or one aspect of it that I just wish was slightly different. And you know that you wouldn't love it for that reason. As a Sky Dweller owner though, I think that's a watch I completely look past the size of. Doesn't matter, it's too amazing!

I love the Bell & Ross Diver BR03-92 with the red dial and bronze case. On a trip to Vegas, I saw the watch just with a different dial color at a shop. Tried it on. My heart fell, the watch was too big for my wrist. It looked comical.

I never used to like the Sky Dweller either. But it’s grown on me, and I find the new green dial variant very attractive! It’s now my favorite Rolex ‘sports’ watch since the Z-Blue Milgauss was discontinued. But my favorite Rolex overall is still the venerable Day-Date line.

I bought a Panerai 312 12 years ago. I loved it and thought I could wear a big watch (6ft tall, average build). I haven’t worn it in years. Maybe it’s time to sell. I’ve never sold a watch because I take so long in choosing that I don’t make mistakes. But I think the Panerai was a mistake. Any advice for selling?

Great video! For me, it's basically any Tudor with a snowflake dial. I love the Tudor Black Bay and the Pelagos, such a neat vintage inspired design with an incredibly understated dial and a beautiful bezel. But then, there's this overproportional abomination of an hour hand, that just ruins the entire watch for me. I'm incredibly picky with hands in general, and if I don't like one of the 3 hands on the dial, the entire watch is dead to me - no matter how cool it may be!

I love the Octo line too but it doesn't look good on most wrists. I felt the same way when I tried it on. Also the Omega Worldtimer is beautiful but just too big. I also like the Omega Planet Ocean with the diamond bezel, I like the way it looks but I could never pull off wearing that much bling.

One (brand) that instantly jumps out for me, is basically anything from Louis Erard.. I think they're too classy looking for me to wear, but I love what they do with their dials. I'm wearing a Panerai 754 right now, 45mm width. A lot of women have bought proper full sized Panerais and they look great, some are models and actressess so you can google them, also Maria Teresa Panerai wore one. They were meant to be big when first invented, 47mm whatever the wearers' wrist size. Worth thinking about, but you might not want to wear a watch that size ever, which is cool, your own preference ☺

As someone into watches and getting interested in scuba, I'd love a Ploprof but it is just out of my price range. I figure I'll go the Seiko Marine Master route instead should I get PADI certified and take up diving. Thankfully with a 7" wrist and large arms, I think I could pull either off without them looking comical, but I'd also only really wear either on a diving trip.

There are all manner of gradations in this, all types of factors that can be personally significant, and I think one is a watch’s belonging on you in a way as does your own face. That is one of my ambitions - to wear watches that, when I catch them out of the corner of my eye, give that slight visual jolt you get when you unexpectedly catch your own face in a mirror you didn’t know was there. The watch to me is an emblem of excellence that helps me learn how to be a better version of myself, or more reasonably, of my personal style.

Had the Sky Dweller on and had to say “no” despite loving the look and complications it wears far bigger than the specs suggest. I personally think the oversizing was a mistake by Rolex as I have spoken with several potential owners and it was the same for them, the size was the sale killer.

I tried that Omega Ploprof on my 7 1/2 inch wrist and it looked so so good , I just love this watch with the unusual design a bit like the Panerai these are so different to others and I think thats were my attraction is with them. May I just add they used to do a baby ploprof maybe try that. The Vacheron do women still wear watches like these ? I see more women wearing sports watches esp if they are into watches.,

Tried on the Octo Finissimo two separate times at the 5th ave boutique, lovely talking with the sales people, just can't do it. Feels too much like a cuff and I just can't do it. I love the movement, thinness and look on other people but my wrists can't support it, sadly.
