🐬 I've only used one watch to actually dive . . . it was my old G Shock. I don't own a diver. I just use dive computers.

My only CW is the Atoll (original fixed bezel model) out of the 5 watches I own, it gets praise from people who see it (people who aren't watch savy at all & others into watches) I love the new bezel on this watch-but unsure about sooooo much lume, the 'light catcher' Atol hands also just pop in sunlight- but the lume is great on the original watch also. Personally never been deeper than 10M's in the sea, snorkeling with harpoon gun hunting for my tea when I was a teenager. Still the Celest I keep looking at on their website though.

Never had any interest in the brand myself, boring designs and or derivative, a name that sounds like it was from a marketing company, lack of provenance and history (yet they have been around a long time) and overpriced for what you're getting. Way too many choices for that $ to consider IWC for me.

I just got a gunmetal/vintage green AQ800 yesterday, and I am beyond satisfied, this watch is gorgeous. I purchased this model initially because of the analog, slanted digital display combo. This watch oozes class and sophistication while being relatively minimal and easy to use. The mineral crystal is different from any of my other 40+ Casios. It is one of only a few I have personally seen where the crystal protrudes past the bezel instead of being recessed or extremely recessed (G-Shock) flush in some other cases. This design feature adds to the aesthetic appeal from every angle, on both displays. After wearing one day I purchased the Salmon, Navy, and Tiffany colorways. This watch is very small and sleek, I was genuinely shocked by the size, for those familiar with the F91,the AQ800 is even smaller. I glanced at the band from the clasp side while wearing it, I seriously thought it was one of those silicone wristbands. I have a thin wrist, 6.75 inches so I welcomed the look but some might disagree because of size. The thickness of the unit is roughly equivalent to that of a standard business card if you simply folded it in half four times. Super lightweight even with the steel strap. My only complaint, no light, but it is legitimately so small I don’t think there was room, plus this watch is far too stunning to wear in the shadows.

I have a very large wrist (>8") and am thinking about the 36mm, just for a smaller field watch type as it was orginally intended

Grade 2 Titanium is not a more 'premium' metal than steel - it is worse in just about every way. There is a huge difference between Grade 2 and Grade 5 Titanium. I would've actually buy this if it came in Stainless Steel. I hope they come up with a GMT in this style soon.

🐬Never used helium escape valve. Most of the dives are going to be under 50m if you are not a tech diver or getting salary from Oil stations installments(commercial diving). And common, everyone is using dive computers. Whenever you are taking $3-5k watch underwater it's a simple show off

For the non-English amoung you, "Bader" is a famous English WW2 pilot. Despite a serious pre-war accident in which he lost both his legs, he returned to the RAF in time for WW2 and scored around 30 kills before he was shot down and taken prisoner. He lost one of his prosthetics while bailing out and had a replacement dropped to him by the RAF in a bombing attack on a nearby Greman airfield !! He made repeated attempts to escape and was transferred to the imfamous Colditz camp for "troublesome" PoWs.. Douglas Bader was quite a guy.

I'm very happy when people only get interested in watches because they think they are rare. Or they think that they can make a buck. So all those people that are pissed off because this watch is available, serves them right.

make a Rolex video and it sells. anything about Rolex is a winner. OK I want my Milgauss back in the Air King case. I saw a Facebook post today, it was a 1938 Rolex bubble back and it said I finally got the call, I was on the wait list for 86 years.

It’s really tidy, smart and clean, and CW is getting more creds growing out of microbrand Tho I do find it little boring, the dive watch design is saturated, the lum blocks and Ti2 are usp but not sure bout the £2k price tag
