Bro that is a sweet looking ride/electric sports car indeed !! However as I honestly think if anyone who actually has enough to money to afford to buy such this kind of expensive concept electric car as point being they most certainly would not concern themselves at all with anyways by in which the car can provide them electricity for to power any such electronic types of devises !! Truthful point on point being as they likely do have more then enough money as to afford to buy all the fuel they would ever need as to run such things ! in fact they most likely would only use this type of car simply as for showing off purposes And as is to most of we who could never think of nor even afford to simply dream of ever being as able to afford to buy one as for ourselves in the first place !! 😂lol

One under-promoted aspect of Aptera's efficiency (if their projections work out) is that level one charging becomes absolutely viable. Plugged in to a 120 volt outlet, it can gain 20 km. of range per hour. Overnight, thats anywhere from 160 km (100 miles), to 300 km. (185 miles). For renters who can only charge their vehicle on an extension cord thrown out the bathroom window, that's a game changer.

Most of these points are like gym memberships, great features to have but won't be used by most. One giant feature that would, however, and it IS a game changer, is for urban drivers, where there simply isn't the physical footprint for widescale use of chargers. Here, the ability for the Aptera to charge itself is a HUGE benefit that makes it viable where other electric vehicles simply are not.
@richardryley366021 күн бұрын
For road trips, your battery capacity is going to be a major factor. As long as you can make it to your destination, and spend a week charging up to get back, you are fine. But if the trip is more than 400 miles on the Launch Edition, you're limited to that 30-40 miles per day you will get from the solar. Of course, you can stop every 400 miles and spend a week seeing the sights. That would certainly be a fun road trip but would require a long vacation. Not everyone would have the time to do that. Another possibility, though, is that with 20 or so hours from a daily charge, you can more easily get to a Supercharger and be on your way. Range anxiety is more a matter of stopping to get something to eat while you wait on the solar to tack on a could more miles. You should be able to make it to a charger eventually. And of course if you can get somewhere that has a 110 volt outlet you've got another option. If you're visiting family you can plug in and not have to worry about if they have Type 2 charging. It won't even cost that much.

I agree this is my choice for best bugout Vehicle for when SHF. It does not rust, very few parts that will break down or wear out. Room enough to sleep in and still keep warm even during wintertime, and generates electricity during the day, or full moon lol. And God willing is still affordable for us nonbillionaires'.. we are looking at the future mass-produced Vehicle that will outsell even the Volks Wagon of the 70's. Since it is easier/cheaper to produce, it will take less units to sell for the company to make a profit. A win win scenario for us, the Aptera Co. and the environment.

They already stated that they will have V2G. That is the main reason I want one I ordered the 600miler. So will add 64kw to the 85.8kwh of batteries I already have for my house. So 149.8kw backup. I have the limit for solar panels in Wisconsin 20kw before you have to meet all the regulations for being a utility (anything above 20kw). So the aptera is not stationary it will be considered separate from my house. And will add 700watts of solar panels. Plus I drive 18 miles to and from work will make commuting absolutely free. 600mile range will get me to Colorado with one stop to fast change. And get me up into the mountains to camp. Then have more charge on the way down than when I got there. WIN WIN WIN! Oh yah even though I self built my super insulated, geothermal heated and cooled, solar powered, net zero, 3400 sqft house/shop. I'm not a tree hugger. Living in Wisconsin. I wish global warming was a real thing. I just want to be bill free for the rest of my life.
